Universal Pen Adapter for Maker/Air/Venture

I have tried multiple different pen adapters for my machine and when I saw that the Craverland pen adapter was available again, I jumped. This is the highest quality universal adapter, and fits my Maker 4 perfectly - it does not press up against the machine and cause any issues with the writing. It is very durable and I love that I can use so many different pens with it.

Works with my cricut maker 4. Works with random pens and markers as well as cricut brand. It doesn’t scratch the machine, but don’t over tighten the pens;it comes with a tool to help with height for correct writing.

It's nice to be able to use non-Cricut pens on my Maker 4. There are some pens Cricut doesn't offer or have bad reviews, so you can use this clever adaptor to make it work. I did take off one star because it can be tricky to know exactly where to place the pen and to absolutely not move at all. I would recommend it unless I find a brand that is better.

These have made crafting with my cricut so much easier since I can use basically anything thanks to this adapter. Works great and fits most pens. So worth the price.

I got it to enhance envelopes and letters. Now that I've seen what it has opened up my world to, I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate it in different projects. The instructions made it easy to install, no confusion at all. I really appreciated that bottom view when it explains how to removed the existing pen holder. Took me less than a minute to install. Then I wanted to see how far I could push it so I gave it some teeny tiny words (and a lot of them) to see if the pen would dislodge or bleed with the recommended settings (using the adjusters provided to make sure the pen nib was in the right place) and it turned out perfectly. I honestly didn't think it could be this precise for so much writing and have no issues but I'm thoroughly impressed. I have a large collection of pens (sharpie, micron, jelly roll, random specialty thin ones I find at stationary stores, etc) and the fact that I can use them all with this has me so excited. Tl;dr : it's great and easy. If you think you have a use for it, get it. Definitely worth it just by the amount I'll save being able to use my own markers and pens and not have to buy cricut ones.

Pretty straight-forward.

So all afternoon after getting this in the mail. I've been playing with it with my Cricut maker to learn what it can do. It's easy to install once you get the cricut one out, (pinch the bottom slightly, had to use pliers gingerly and the old one pops right out). To install it's easy but the hard part is to figure out the depth guide for the pens etc. The roller is in the way so I went above the roller and inserted from the left side using the part that is suppose to go over the square part of the machine as a little handle to insert and remove the depth guide. That's a little different from the instructions but it works and it's not that much of a extra step to adjust to change pens etc. when we are used to changing out from score wheel to fine point etc. Just an added step with pens or pencils, markers of which it takes all. So far I haven't had one Pen pencil etc. it would not take or hold. EVEN the Cricut stylus that I could not get to stay in place works with this. Don't recommend much but I recommend this. Good usefull product.

So, its very easy to use. - The drawing/linings vibrate a bit with round surfaced pens/pencils - however, only with minor fluctuations - It could be problematic only for fine details. Broad lines are drawn perfectly. - Flat surfaced pens/pencils are completely steady. They fit perfectly and draw even minor details very smoothly.

Only just used this after ages putting it off, (about a year) because I was scared it would be hassle. I wish I’d used it sooner!! So good :) nice and easy to install on the cricut and I love that there are 2, so I can have 2 pens in there to change each time. :) Great value for money and now I don’t need to buy cricut compatible pens! Currently using glittery gel pens on mine. LOVE. 🥰

GREAT PRODUCT! its useful and it works. I used it with a sakura gelly roll pen. Worked perfectly.

Actually surprised that it works perfectly! We just purchased some nice pens from Officeworks and they fit perfectly, great for a nice handwriting font on our wedding envelopes. We did notice that sometimes once it is aligned, take the tray out and then push the pen down a little bit more based on the thickness of your media, to ensure nice even writing.
