I wanted tart pans for mini key lime pie tarts, and most mini tart pans just weren’t deep enough for my needs. These mini tins really fit the bill — even with a graham cracker crust, you can achieve a good 1:3 or 1:4 ratio of crust to filling.I was hopeful about the tamper because (even though it’s plastic) it seems to be decent quality and a great fit for a 1/8 (~3mm) crust all the way around. I’m sure it works well for a traditional crust. BUT it just held on to my graham cracker crust too much (I even sprayed it with cooking spray), and I’d have to patch about half of the sides afterwards, so I just gave up and molded everything by hand.But the tarts cooked beautifully, and thanks to the removable bottom they released perfectly — my only note here is that it can also be difficult to remove the bottom after it’s out of the pan (maybe adding a circle of parchment would be smart). If I can make my tarts a little more photogenic I’ll post some pix!

Ordered these to make some small Quiche' that called for 4 inch Quiche pans. Had left over dough and wondered why. Measured these pans and they are 3 1/2 inches across. NOT 4 inches as advertised. Description of this item needs to be revised. False advertising in my opinion

I love this purchase! I selected these because they were a cool color and the only ones that came with a tamper. The uniformity of my crust was nice. I hand-washed them after using, and they were easy to clean. My tart crust released like magic. They made me look like a pro!

The tamper works great. The tins are perfect used for little cheesecakes and mini pies.

I needed a tart shell tin that had high sides (deep for thick crust and lots of filling. After ordering several so so ones in the past I've found this set and love them. The Teflon coating is nice and enamel (green) color coat on outside is pretty but hand wash them so you don't bang them up. They are heavy duty but edge of enamel can chip. The crust tamper is a bonus. Works great! I'm a chef and use these to make custom tarts with all types of crushed cookies. Like them as much as my stainless Azteca tartlet pans.

She says.. just what she was looking for, great mini size without being too small, nice quality, easy to clean, they get a big thumbs up from her and shes a little fussy with cookware.
