Boiler Max HTG Btu 60K DHW 103K Combi NG

The good: works great and delivers hot water faster than unit it replaced. Easy to operate and very quite operation.The Bad: delivery from seller was lousy. Too way too long and was not tracked very well at all. However, the bigger issue was the set up. This is not an out of the box complete set up. While it was clear from the manual that a vent kit and isolation valves were not included, additional items were required to get this unit to work properly that were not described in the instructions. ie two additional pumps and a zone controller. My original unit did not need this and other units on the market don’t as well. Very disappointed in this and had I known this I would have not purchased this unit. Since this unit is now discontinued, my comments are mute. Not sure if this problem has been rectified in newer models but it certainly is ridiculous to buy a combination boiler that can’t handle the job it was designed to do without additional external pumps.
