RICHEN Plastic Hard Case Skin Cover Protector Shell for Nintendo New 3DS XL LL( Starry Sky)

It took me a few seconds to get the case to securely fasten and click down on the 3ds. I think the pieces that extend out to attach onto the end pieces look rather silly but the Nintendo brand has nothing to protect those vulnerable parts from breaking in case of a fall and that is honestly what breaks first. So it looks silly, as you can see in the picture, but it should protect the device.

I do love my case but it was a bit weird with how it fit on to my 3 DS XL i was a bit worried that it wasn't going to fit properly but after a little working with it. I was able to get it on with out damage on the case or the DS which that makes me happy with it but its not really the kind of case I wanted but I looked through all of Amazon it was the only hard case I could find that I liked well enough to get. I found a few skins I really wanted but since it wasn't offered in a hard case like I wanted and needed. I settled I am happy with it, but I love details on things quite a bit as an artist but I'm content for the most part which is what matters :) I would have given a 5 star but since it wasn't what I really wanted I left a 4 star.

I purchased this to see if i can keep my 3DS XL together. The top doesn't fit at all. and the bottom fits but barely. the hinges keep popping off. i am thinking i might tweak it by putting a small hole in the top hinge and holding it together with a small nut and bolt. and maybe using some command adhesive hook and loop to hold it in the case better. i need it to keep the DS together so we can use it. And haven't found any hinged cases except this one

It's pretty. It doesn't glow in the dark though (not that that was a feature stated to begin with, I just think it would be cool if it were a thing). It works great on protecting my 3DS from more wear and tear.The only problem I have that can't really be avoided is that sometimes the little hooks get stuck in the frame (there's a separation between the top half of the case and the bottom half of the case of the 3DS) if I'm not careful.

Great case very personalized too. I purchased this case for my 7 year old stepSon. It fits perfectly on his galaxy 3D XL game boy ( Nintendo DS). Seems like everyone has the galaxy one. So no one can mistakenly pick up his game boy, the case will differentiate them apart. The seller didn’t have too many graphics to choose from for boys. I Haven’t tested it out as far as if he drops it will it protect it- not planning on it either. I’m certain it’ll help With accidentals though. When installing the case after lining the corners up close it and make sure you hear the clicks, that way you know it snapped in place. All in all it’s doing it’s job!! Great purchase 😉

This case has saved my sons 3dsxl from several drops already. He wanted the galaxy 3dsxl but they didn't have it in blue so this cover was perfect he loves it and I love it saving the 3ds from breaking!! Definitely recommend this to anyone interested!

Awesome! This case fits very nice! It's a fingerprint magnet tho and at the end of the day-its a cheap plastic case that isn't very heavy duty at all but I gotta say, those aren't reasons I bought them... I love the look of it!

My daughter absolutely loves this case. Her DS fits perfectly in it, and her stylus no longer falls out constantly. The colors are nice and bright and the little "dude" on the front is so cute. So far, it's holding up great and doing its job, while being adorable as a bonus.
