I bought these shoes to complete and fashion design that I had. The shoe fit was perfect. I wear a 10.5. however, I have big calfs not deformed big, but they are probably larger than most people of my height and weight so I had about an inch of zipper maybe a little less 3/4 of an inch that did not zip up but the shoe did stayed up on my leg. The look The look was was just awesome! What a look, people stopped me to complemented me. I recommend these shoes if the gladiator look is what you’re going for. ❤️

The shoes are WAY too big to be an 8. See the difference in shoe size in the comparison pic - they are both a size 8. Also, you can see how far back my toes are from the front on the shoe. The other issue is that the diameter of the shoe around my calf is way too big - the shoes looked baggy. There isn't a way to adjust the straps to make them tighter. Such a shame because the shoes are so cute. I obviously have to return these.

I really love the look of these sandals so I decided to try them. However, since it did say for slim legs I bought the next size up hoping they would be just a little more accommodating on the legs. I wouldn't say I have large legs but I definitely don't have slim legs. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough. The feet are probably accurately sized but the uppers (all the pretty straps and such) are still way too tight. I can zip it up but it doesn't look good or fit well. I tried wearing them around the house several times trying to stretch the leather and did to a degree but they will never fit as nice as I'd hoped. I was very disappointed. These seem to only be made for women with extremely thin legs that have zero fat and only very lean muscle at most, if you have any calf definition at all these will not fit you even if you size up!
