Homemade Blended Formula Handbook

I LOVE this book! It helped me understand what I should be feeding my disabled son. It has meal planning charts based on calorie goals and lots of tables about the nutritional content of food. I saw a previous review that said this book is for children. It is not! This book is for anyone who needs to understand what a nutritious diet looks like. I recommend this book for anyone new to blending - whether they blend for an oral eater or a tube fed person. Great info!

This book has great information for someone just starting out with a blenderized diet. The first part addresses the all emotions that tube feeding can bring up for parents. Many of the things I was feeling with my 8 month old tubie were put into words. Nutritional advice, testimonials from parents and sample daily meals really gave me the confidence to get started. At times the info was a little redundant but nothing to complain about. I will keep this book for a long time, although hopefully a blenderized diet will help my daughter eventually become an oral eater so I won't need the book forever! :)

This book is everything you need to start a blenderized diet. We still did so under a nutritionist initially which is definitely the best way to start but rarely need to reach out to her now. I do use an app to input and receive all nutrition information as it's a bit of a challenge to do so on paper but doable if necessary.Disclaimer: I am not a nutritionist. I'm just a Mommy trying to do what's best for my little.

Best book you can buy for kids and babies with feeding tubes. It's a must have and was a lifesaver for our family!

This is a blenderized diet hand book. You need it. If you are choosing to give your tubie real food because that is what they are made for this book is the best place to start

Very detailed, used for a family member and would recommend for anyone who wants to start feeding their lived one real food.

Great idea for children with special feeding needs, especially those using g-tubes. The nutrition information is very useful and ideas on making blended formulae are easy to understand.

I love this book! I fully transitioned my daughter to a blended diet using this book and would highly recommend it to any parent hoping to transition their child.

This book is really good if you have a baby or someone that has feeding issues some good recipes in it too

Would recommend looking up nutrition calculator on Google instead.

A must for a bd parents.
