Got these for my daycare kids, who range in age from 6 months to 4 years. (Naturally we do not give them to the kids who just put everything in their mouths!) These designs are intriguing to our kids, they love to experiment with different ways of building.And honestly, anything not digital or electronic that has kids playing with focus, creating, having a blast, and totally absorbed, is a huge value!The pieces are sturdy, colorful, well designed, functional. The quality of this set is high.And, all the caregivers enjoy them! Even my slightly jaded 8 year old nephew looks forward to creating with these. Highly recommended!

These extra shapes add all sorts of new options to what the kids can build with the original set. The original set was purchased by extended family for Christmas for my two year old who has mastered building with them pretty impressively. The funny part is that her much older siblings (11, 14, and 17) literally fight to have time with these things, and fight even more fiercely to protect their creations from being dismantled and repurposed by the others. Definitely didn't expect that with what I saw as a toddler toy. Even for me, building things with them is a lot of fun. We have a number of iPad pics of different things the kids have made to preserve the memory and the peace.

The media could not be loaded.  My kids love these! When we got the box on Friday night, we happened to have friends over. All 6 of our combined kids played with this new set for hours (we even got to play a board game without interruption). The kids particularly like the domed pieces and made up a game of there own that was reminiscent of a Pac-man game where they had to see which dome would hold on to the most magnet pieces. The pieces of this round set work well with the other magnetic tiles we already had, but the curved shapes let them build even more creative pieces. The colors are bright, great for teaching my toddler color recognition and developing her motor skills. At the same time, my 9 year old loves to play with these magnetic tiles to push the limitations of engineering. The Shape Mags brand has become a favorite of my kids because of the unique magnetic tiles they keep coming out with to add to our sets.

I love the unique shapes and fun possibilities they add to the creations! However, the magnets aren’t nearly as strong as I’d hoped. A fun addition, nonetheless!

I got this set to expand my 8 year old's creativity with the magnetic tiles. My kids have been playing with the magnetic tiles for 3 years and these are by far the best investment we have made. It's always great to watch how a child's mind works when they build with magnetic tiles.The quality is excellent in this set and goes with any other brand of magnetic tiles. We have a mix of all brands. The domes do come apart and that works well for us.As another reviewer mentioned, these keep the kids away from electronics and the kids are quietly concentrating on building for hours.Kids will find a way to incorporate this set of add-on tiles/extensions. Don't hesitate to get them.

I bought a set of these blocks for my grand kiddos to play with when they come visit. They were so excited! These are built sturdy, just as good if not better than other brands at double the cost. I bought another set of different shapes to let their imaginations take off! It’s been so much fun watching to see what they can come up with. They love it when I get down on the floor and play with them…..

These magnets are a great toy for any age. We bought these as a supplemental add on to our current set. The curved and rounded pieces are a great addition. They are compatable with other sets which is great. My son and daughter will play with these for hours each day. It is a worth while purchase.

We love one of the other sets from this brand but so far this one is a bit frustrating. I like that this one has different pieces you don't see elsewhere, but the wide arches have VERY weak magnets--I can barely get them to hold together with anything. The domes are cool and I think we'll find fun ways to use the narrower arches as tunnels, but this one definitely wasn't what I was expecting given the high quality of our other set.Edit: After more time with this set, we figured out how to better use the arches--but you absolutely need the 1/4 circle pieces to create a half circle to have any chance of keeping them together. They're not as bad as I thought, but versatility is still pretty limited as a result. Still, we like this set and I'm happy we got it.
