Don't pour from a large opening, Get this!
This is a must have if you are toting these for water in your 4x4 through the desert. My dog is extremely happy that I can fill his bowl when we stop to explore on foot. It is also handy to refill my water glass. :) If you are buying Water Bricks for your desert excursions, or any outing, Buy one of these. Too handy to be without. Note it is only vented in one position. So if the water won't flow shift it 180deg. Or like I did mark the vented side so you will know.

Great spigot, now where to keep it?
Seemed to fit well and I didn't get any leakage from the product. For storage purposes it is better to use the cap included with the water brick. Would be even cooler if they had a molded section within the water brick that would fit/accommodate the nozzle. As for now, I have mine taped to the outside.

these are holding up great without any leaking or noticeable wear
I got this spigot along with the waterbrick a couple months ago and wanted to try it out a bit before posting a review. So far, these are holding up great without any leaking or noticeable wear. They are very easy to put on (twist on/off in place of the water brick's securing lid) and easy to dispense. As is the nature with the water bricks I bought, they require tipping to fully empty but this is no fault of this spigot, which has great flows. When I take the spigot off, I dry it then store it in a ziplock bag in a position where it won't be squished or crushed. I would definitely recommend these for anyone getting the water bricks for water storage.

Makes using the bricks much easier
A must have for water bricks so you can pour the water easier.

Use it right, works alright
For the first half of the load in the waterbrick, you'll get a decent flow. Beyond that, you need to tilt the brick to put gravity pressure behind the spigot so it comes out with some measure of speed. I built a rack for three waterbricks to sit at a 30 degree angle, which does the job for 85% of the brick's contents. Nothing special, just used scraps around the house. All in all, a very good accessory for your Waterbrick.

A must buy.
Read the reviews that talked about it leaking but as long as you give it a tight seal and shake it up to test for leaks before you put it on its side, you should be golden. We have four water bricks and while we have been able to pour water out of the big mouth opening, it is not easy on your back if the bricks are full, the spigot really makes it easy.

There are better taps for the brick
It is low tech, only empties the brick half way (then you have to tip it, and then empty the last of the water by taking it off), sometimes it leaks. My next try was a manual vertical pump, like for an oil drum, but it was so hard to pull up the plunger that a partly full brick got lifted off the ground. Then I rigged up anRV sink faucet with an integrated switch, a small 12v submersible pump, and a 12v 5Ah battery like from a house alarm system. Very slick, high spout, variable flow rates, and really quiet, but pricy and bulky to store between camping trips. Then I happened onto the Auto Bottled Water Pump with Volume Control Wireless Water Dispenser Rechargeable Gallon Water Bottle Jug Dispenser Pump, from ExcMark. Only $12 after tax, a bit noisy, but so simple. With the water level lower than the top โcrossbarโ in the brick, you can set the pump boy down the opening and rest the bottom of it on the crosspiece. Maybe add some foil to keep dust and tree droppings out... packs up tiny in its original box, recharges via a mini-usb cord (cord included, but not power plug). You can find a YouTube video where a guy runs the pump tube through a hole in one of the blue lids and mounts the pump beside his camper-vanโs sink after much tinkering with the base of the pump to make it sit flat on a magnet base. But I car-camp, no camper-kitchen in my van for me.

Perfect fit for our water cubes
We bought a set of water cubes and filled one up and brought it camping this weekend. Very basic, but did the job. Might have to get one more as we got quite a few cubes and may need more than one going at a time if the "apocalypse" happens

Essential, but lousy
This is essential for use of water bricks... unfortunately it leaks and falls apart with minimal force. The brick needs to be stored upright to avoid leaks, but the handle interferes with the spigot and dislodges the nut that holds it together.
