I must have dozens of cook books but this series is the very best. Easy layout, good instructions and each recipe is pictured. Massive recipe choices. The ones I've tried all work so far I am a fan!!!!!!

This is a really great cookbook. There are lots of recipes and they all look pretty easy to make without tons of ingredients. They are everyday recipes with some for parties and such. I like that it's down to earth kind of cooking that can be done for regular meals and not complicated ones you would only make for special occasions if even that. The hardest part with this cookbook is figuring out what to make first. The only not so great thing I would have to say about this cookbook is it would be nicer if the recipes were printed on heavier stock paper. I feel the the pages are kind of thin and might tear easily if not careful. Other than that it's a great cookbook and one I know I will use often. Shipping was fast thanks as always to Amazon.

Very impressed with the way this cookbook is made with hardcover, solid rings that open to add/remove content, and thick pages that are not going to tear out after many uses. Recipes include nutritional values (which has become important to us) and many include pictures. Overall, the recipes are for ideal the regular person who isn't "chef-like" or have a bunch of obscure ingredients on-hand. We've bought a lot of cookbooks recently, but this one fills our need.Only oddity is that it arrived with an indentation at the very top of the book binding. Definitely not made that way. Just cosmetic damage that was probably from shipping. However, noticing the same cookbook in stores, I am seeing the same damage. Doesn't affect the value and may be a fluke. Just would have been annoying if we had given it as a gift.

Very excited to make several of the recipes.The recipes have pictures and normal everyday ingredients. Typical spices and pantry items.I like to be able to cook something new from what I have, if anything maybe a meat item to buy.

The focus seems to be on pre-packaged ingredients. I feel scroogled by purchasing this book. There are unoriginal sandwich "recipes" that are just the assembly process for any sandwich. At least one refrigerator pop the can dough recipe that was just dough, butter and cheese. Seems like filler so they can claim the book had a certain number of recipes. Not for someone who knows how to cook. I have this three stars because I can see how someone could find this useful. It does have lots of pictures.
