THE GOOD: I'm on day 5 of a 7 day fast, drinking nothing but water and this electrolyte powder, and I feel GREAT! I have not experienced any headaches, dizziness, cramps, or other side effects that can sometimes come with prolonged fasting. I have done several 3 day fasts in the past using only Himalayan salt as a mineral supplement, but still suffered from most if not all of the aforementioned side effects (not severe, and effects were short lived, but still annoying). In fact, this was going to be a 3 day fast but I have felt so good I decided to extend it! THE BAD: This stuff tastes absolutely awful! The smell and taste reminds me of an insecticide or herbicide, and if you shake up really hard and don't allow the foam to subside before you slam it down, that bad taste is the gift that keeps on giving. So why 5 stars? Because this stuff WORKS! It gives your body what it needs. As part of my daily regiment I also drink apple cider vinegar and lemon juice, which also tastes awful, but it's good for you. Taste is overrated. Mix it really well with cold water, let the foam go down, swish it around again to make sure it's mixed, drink it down as fast as you can, and get on with your day!

The flavor takes a bit to get use to. It dissolves well. As I drink it in my water bottle, I dilute it with more water and drink throughout the day. I got in to enhance fasting after watching Dr. Berg’s videos on fasting. After 12 days of fasting, my bloodwork was great, particularly my electrolytes. That showed I was still in good shape while fasting and taking these electrolytes.

I have to start that I rarely give a review. But, had such a distaste for this product and my husband had digestive issues (when he is very regular), that we threw it away. It was not eligible for a return. I had used other electrolyte powders before and my husband thought I should try this brand, as it was a little more cost friendly. I ordered the pomegranate and cherry. It had an awful smell and the taste was just okay. I was willing to use it so as not to waste the product, and I'm not THAT picky of an eater. But, after my husband had three days of having not the normal BMs, we just thought we would stop the supplement and see if we could get a return. It was not eligible and he went back to normal and we decided to just throw the product away. We happily went back to our normal electrolyte powder, and worth it for a few extra dollars in my opinion.

I see a difference using this product after about two weeks. I don’t feel as stiff in the morning and the joints in my knees, which were bothering me feel much much better. I am also sleeping better. It’s a little on the sweet side but I dilute it with plenty of water and I add a few drops of another supplement to it which my naturopath practitioner okayed. That tones down the sweet taste. I plan on reordering it again.

This is apparently a good electrolye formulation, but it is unbearably disgusting due to the stevia in it. It seems some people find that to be an acceptable sweetener. For me, it is just a horrible flavor. Unfortunately, they don't offer any that are stevia-free.

This is the cleanest of the electrolytes that I know of and I’ll continue to use it, but I really wish it wasn’t so sweet, but it’s worth it being that there’s no “natural flavors” in the ingredients.

I really love the tangerine flavor and thought I'd expand my horizons with this Pomegranate Cherry. It's not horrible, but it's not good either. I also can't get it to fully dissolve, which was never a problem with the tangerine flavor. Oh well, I gave it a try, but I won't be getting this particular flavor again.

Priced a little high but works for what I need it for.
