Not sure about the design
The tray itself is well built. The rubber inserts do not stay in place. When the center compartment is lifted all the rubber inserts fall out of place. This is one place Ram fell short on the interior design....everything in the center storage falls when lifted so it's not all on this product.

Insert pads have no adhesion to keep them in place.
The product idea is great but the inserts need to have some adhesive to keep them in place when the arm rest is raised up.
