Shipping is a big problem
These are really nice shelves. They are well made and can take heavy loads. I would guess even a bent shelf will hold up really well (as long as your not dropping heavy items on it). The paint seems to be good and well done. Construction is simple, but you should have a rubber mallet and a second person. I found that we always needed more plastic shelf supports because at least 1-2 failed to hold the shelf when putting them together. You get 1-2 extra per package, so we didn't have any issues there. We attempted to be careful to not need more.Overall, I'd recommend the shelves, but suggest getting them locally where they can be inspected before taking possession of them and then you bringing them home so no further damage occurs to them. The shipping problem is not unique to these shelves and probably apply to all similar shelves by other manufacturers. My main problem is shipping of the package. The shelves are so heavy the packages get ripped up, bent, banged before they get to you. I have bought 6 of these shelves and they have been shipped by both UPS and FedEx. ALL of the packages and replacement packages have come damaged. Out of 8 shipped sets of shelves shipped to us we ended up with 6 good sets. The problem is that they are about 70 lbs to ship and the packaging can't handle the stress of shipping/moving. FedEx says they are "team lift" items, but then only sends one person to deliver it. On top of this issue, Amazon will only replace a complete package when it is received damaged. So you can't get just one shelf that was bent/scratched. You have to get a full box sent to you and return a full (ripped up) box back. Amazon pays for return shipping. Very wasteful process. They only good thing was we ordered 4 sets at one time and only asked for 1 replacement package and used it to replace all the bent/broken parts in the 4 packages. Only ordering directly from the manufacturer will allow you to get just the replacement parts/shelves you need shipped to you. The manufacture has very good support and was quick to handle any shipping issues on orders from them. They didn't require the damaged parts back (I'm not sure that is good since now I have to figure out how to get rid of them). These have 5 shelves per rack. We only wanted 4 shelves for our setup, so ordered an extra set of legs from the manufacturer to give us an additional rack of shelves. The legs are not available on amazon.I think a better solution is find some place local to buy them. Inspect the box for damage and then bring them home yourself with at least two people. These are great shelves for damp areas.

Sturdy shelf for pantry.
We have only just gotten it set up and have transferred all our canned goods and bulk staple items onto it It was very easy to put together and is very sturdy. It should work well for what we need.

This old broad assembled the unit with very little difficulty.
I needed shelving for my art studio. Mostly for my many paintings/canvases. This unit was surprisingly easy to assemble. I am using only two shelves to accommodate approximately twenty six 24 x 36 x2.5 inch canvases. So far so very good. Now I have a couple of left over shelves and would love to get another set of castors and poles to create a second unit. I wonder if this is possible?

Sturdy and Easy to assemble.
This wire shelf is great because it is modular, sturdy, and easy to assemble. What I like about this shelf is that each of the four posts comes in 2 pieces that screw together in the center to form a solid connection. This allows you to either construct one great big tall shelf or two half sized shelves with the option of attaching another shelf layer in between. This is highly useful if your storage needs ever change. Once assembled, the wire shelf is sturdy and easy to move with the included castor wheels; these roll smoothly on ball bearings and also lock into place. The fit and finish seems good and welded connection points of this brand of wire shelf seem better than other brands of wire shelves that I own.The only issue I have is that assembly of the shelf relies on plastic conical wedges that use small nibs and grooves to secure the shelves in place. For one, they are plastic so I don't know how well they will fare outdoors in the sun. Two, occasionally you may damage or flatten the plastic nib on the wedge and render the piece useless; replacements can be easily had, though. Lastly, because the shelf construction relies on downward pressure to secure a shelf to the posts, one cannot pick up and move the unit by lifting at the shelf itself, but rather must grasp at the posts to lift. These however are only minor annoyances that do not seriously affect my satisfaction with this product.4.5/5 - I like it a lot.

Good buy, Worth the money.
I've been looking at these shelves for a while and finally pulled the trigger. For the price it's not a bad buy. Seems pretty sturdy and could hold some weight on each shelf. I like them a lot, but during assembly I could not get all four wheels to touch the ground. As I installed the shelves, I made sure the spacing was correct. It still seemed a little crooked, but after I loaded it up with some weight, it seemed to even itself out. I would give it 5 stars but a couple of the plastic clips kept slipping as I tapped the shelf in place. Not bad compared to the plastic shelves I purchased from home depot for half the price.

Great Amp Stand!!!!
I bought this cart to keep my guitar amps off the floor in case I get some water in my basement. Assembly took about 25 minutes, but I did it by myself. If you have someone to help you, it will go a little bit quicker. The stand is very rugged and strong. I bought it for the basement because of the outdoor rating. Also the shelves are rated to hold a little bit more weight than other carts around the same price. The one area of improvement could be the casters. They work well, but they could be a little bit more fluid. Granted there's probably about 250 pounds on my cart because of the weight of the amps. However, considering the cart is rated for a much higher weight, the casters should work much more fluidly under that amount of weight.Great bargain, you can't go wrong!
