This is a beautiful thing
Works well. Only for Android. This saved me a tremendous and expensive hassle. I had an MPV I couldn't get smogged because of a spurious check engine light from the catalytic converter/downstream O2 sensors on both sides. Stupid car has thrown this code since it hit 40k. I'd usually get a few hundred miles after a reset before it would come on again, but it was unpredictable. This device, with Torque lite, allowed me to reset the ECU and get the system monitor routines completed by doing the correct drive cycle. It took all of the guesswork out of it. The instant all was completed, I took it in and passed. This gadget works great for monitoring your ECU. I've installed one in each of my family's cars, jic.

GREAT product for a GREAT price!
This low power bluetooth OBD-II scanner has worked flawlessly with all 3 of my vehicles (2015 GMC, 2013 Honda, 2003 Lexus). I used the DashCommand app to interface with this adapter and have been extremely impressed! The device itself has a very low profile that you barely notice being plugged in. I have not had any issue with it running the battery dead (and I leave it plugged into my 2003 Lexus that has an 8 year old battery 24/7!). To compare my results, I took my car to a local parts store to have the check engine light read by them. They gave me 3 separate codes that were all wrong! This device gave me the correct code that I was able to diagnose and fix the problem that I had. I would definitely recommend this to all my friends who are in need of such a device!

You probably can't go wrong
Quite adequate. Guys I know paid $75-90 for a device that does - I think - the same thing. Since one particular problem I had hoped to avoid - relative to the previous model - was leaving it plugged in overnight and finding my battery dead the next morning, I really was holding my breath when I started using this adapter. It turns out that it's not a problem. In fact I don't even notice a slightly slow battery (2000 Expedition, 2007 Camry). I've been using Torque Pro with it and it seems to be able to pass through anything that the ECM/ECU can barf up. One last concern might be whether it an actually last a few months...a couple of years, etc. I couldn't tell you because it's only been six weeks, but at least it was affordable at $10. Buy it.

Great
I had to unplug it once when it stopped connecting, but it's worked perfectly otherwise over the last month. I use DashCommand as my monitor app since it was the most fluent and we'll layed out, though (IIRC) it was $10 after the trial, but it the diagnostic ability and vehicle info it shows are well worth that.I do kinda wish it was a matte black instead of the clear blue, but it's not noticeable under my dash. It's also great how small these are, as I worried some of the others might hit my legs since the looked longerI got the low-pressure version. Not entirely sure what the difference is, but I knew my alternator wasn't great (original, 21yr old), and my truck can sit for a few weeks at times, so I didn't want to risk any drains. (Didn't see anything in the description, forgot to check the questions, and was too impatient to wait for an answer)

Great little product.
I purchased this item and received it April 1, 2017. I chose this item because it claimed that it is ultra-low standby power. So far this item seems to work great. I use it in my 2012 Silverado 2500 using the Torque application with an Android system. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH APPLE IPHONE, I have tried. My truck has sat for about a week and a half without running and started right up without the battery feeling weak. So although it draws power all the time, it does not draw enough power to kill the battery even if the vehicle is not driven frequently. I am very happy with this purchase.

Amazing, works great.
Love this thing. Simple to use and easy to store. Connected right up to the free version of Dash Command, and cleared my engine code ( after buying the premium version of the app.) There is almost no lag between sending the information and dash command reading it and displaying it. Could replace an entire gauge cluster with it easy. Worth the 7 bucks I spent, and really worth triple that to not have to look those judgy AutoZone guys in the face.

Great option for android devices.
This is a fantastic choice for android devices, it's Bluetooth and android only, and it's used very low amount of power and goes into standby when it sending and receiving data. I leave mine plugged in 24/7 because I use a digital dashboard app and even with my 3 year old battery and not starting the car at all for 4 days at a time, my car will crank right up no issues at all. So it's very low power consumption.

Product itself works excellent with Android phone through Bluetooth
Product itself works excellent with Android phone through Bluetooth. But if you are using on a car with the same phone your car is synced with for your in car Bluetooth handsfree system. You will have a hard time syncing with the OBD2 adapter because phone can handle only one Bluetooth at a time. If this is the case I would recommend buying the wifi version of this adapter.
