I recently had my bathroom remodeled, and my only disappointment is the new shower has no built-in control for water flow, only temperature. The water itself is either fully on or fully off, with nothing in between. The supplied shower head contained a restrictor that reduced the flow to a mere trickle, so I put my old handheld shower heat, with no restriction, back in its place, but the other extreme wasn't very pleasant, either. This inline flow control valve supplies the otherwise missing piece of the puzzle. I can now adjust the flow to my preference, and simply leave it. There is enough resistance on the sliding control to make precise adjustments very easily. Installation literally took about two or three minutes and required no tools, just a bit of Teflon thread tape. The valve seems to be well constructed, and I am reasonably confident of its longevity. For about the cost of a hamburger, this is a near-perfect solution, as long as you remove and discard the shower head's built-in flow restrictor, if present, before installing the valve.

Switch in my RV shower for too hard to toggle. Purchased this item. Works like a dream and so much easier to regulate your shower water. Great buy.

We use it to conserve water by restricting flow when dry camping in our rv. Works great. It can be used to turn the water off while leaving the faucet controls set where you want them without leaking.

This is perfect. Exactly what I wanted. It doesn't leak. It is easy to put on and I cannot live without it. It is so convenient to turn the water on and off quickly. Your bill will go down immensely.

I bought this to help save money on my utility bill and I’m glad I did! The nickle finish is nice and the brass material should last a long time. The 1/2” fitting attached perfectly to my shower. The size of the knob is small and low profile which I needed (the handle on the previous one I had was too tall and couldn’t be turned all the way off without hitting my shower filter.) Toggling the knob from on to off is easy to do with just one hand. The install is a breeze that most anyone can do under 5 minutes. All you need is a couple wrenches and some pipe tape to prevent any leakage. I’d say it’s a great value for the money and I can’t wait to see the difference in my water bill!!!

The adapter has a cone shape on the inside and no place to seat the flow restrictor. I tried anyways to make this work but it leaks. This appears to be the wrong part or a very very bad design.

Easy to install and works exactly as expected. It gives me better control over the water flow and makes showering more convenient. Very happy with it!

These work! They’re entirely made of plastic so I can’t attest for how long they’ll last but they do the job.
