Holy smokes, I don’t know why I was expecting an electrical tape sized roll,,,,,,,I’m pleasantly surprised to what actually arrived, it’s the size of a roll of duct tape, but it’s nothing like a regular roll of tape other than the size.If you’ve ever used or seen the protective film used on new cars right off the automotive plant to the transporter, or the protective film used by mechanics to protect a car’s paint while the car’s being serviced, then that’s pretty much what we have here. Now, I’m not saying this film is what they use on new cars, I’m just describing how the material feels compared to actual a roll of tape. This material has some stretch to it and is able to starch around the contours of a car if needed.Now for the cool part, the roll is scored every six inches, similar to the “Choose your size” paper towels, so there’s no need for any cutting tools.You really do need to make sure to fold the end of the tape each time before you put it away, otherwise it’ll be a nightmare trying to distinguish the end of the tape from the score marks.The tape is also easily removed, I tried a piece on my hot truck and let it sit for a long in the sun and it still comes off cleanly, no fuss, no mess.I am going to make a smaller, more convenient roll I can throw in my lockout bag so I don’t have to carry the full roll, otherwise I’ll eventually ruin it like I ruin every roll of ducked tape that I’ve carried in my truck.I think you definitely need this product if your lockout tools are bare metal and they make contact with a vehicle’s paint.I make it a point to hide everything in my truck to not entice some scumbag from braking into my truck, so I recently upgraded my tools to the easily concealable one’s.Since my lockout tools are new, they still have the protective film, and I’m less likely to scratch a car while unlocking it, but I’d much rather play it safe and use the protective tape anyways, especially while working on black cars.This product will last me a good while since I usually try to pick the vehicle”s lock before I ever go for the access tools, I’ll definitely be ordering this product again if I use up the entire roll.Anyways, sorry for the long post,Thank you.

I like this tape and appreciate the easy tear off design, actually saves me money because I know exactly how much tape I am tearing off. Adhesion is good with a clean removal. Compared to scratching a cars finish this tape makes a lot of sense and projects a positive professional image to the car owner.
