THE DOOR LOCK I BEEN MISSING
This door lock is awesome. The style, look, and overall feel are amazing. This meant for dead bolt-only locks. The installation is spot on. It is straightforward to install and once it is installed the lock is very secure. It can be used with Nest or Google apps but I needed help connecting it. I have Google Home but it requires you to use the Nest app for this to work. The unit has no wifi so it connects to this Bluetooth device you need to plug it near the lock if you want to use the app to lock or unlock the device. I am not using the app so all of that is not needed. Just put in your 4-digit code and it locks and unlocks just like any dead-bolt without a key. It takes 4 double AA batteries that come with it. This is a superb dead-bolt lock. Should have gotten this a long time ago. I use this lock on my garage door.

Easy installation and works very well.
The install was easy of the hardware but the software did get a little tricky. Some of it was user error but once you figure out what you are doing, it's a breeze. I love that we can easily assign specific codes to each family member if we want to and we can do a guest code for a pet sitter while we are on vacation and change that code after we return. It also logs which family member/guest locked and unlocked the door so you always know who is entering the house. You can use the app to unlock or the keypad. This is totally keyless so be sure to have batteries on hand when the low battery warning comes on but if for some reason you failed on that part, you can use a 9 volt from the outside to operate it and unlock the door. It's really foolproof and you can't mess this up. Well worth every penny especially for a family on different schedules coming and going all hours of the day.

Love this lock
Love this locking system. Not having to juggle keys to get in is nice. Batteries last a long time without needing to change. Ability to set different codes for different visitors for tracking is nice.

### Review: Nest Connect and Google Yale LockI've been using the Nest Connect and Google Yale Lock for a few months now, and my experience has been frustrating, to say the least. The main issue is that they frequently go offline, which completely defeats the purpose of having a smart lock and connected system.**Connectivity Issues**: Despite having a strong Wi-Fi signal, both the Nest Connect and the Yale Lock struggle to stay connected. This has left me locked out of my home on several occasions and has made remote access and control virtually impossible.**Inconsistent Performance**: When the devices are online, they work well. However, this consistency is rare. The connection drops often, and I find myself constantly having to reset or troubleshoot the devices.**Customer Support**: Reaching out to customer support has not been very helpful. The standard troubleshooting steps don't resolve the core issue of the connectivity problems, and I've yet to receive a solution that actually works.**Firmware Updates**: While I appreciate that Nest and Google try to fix issues through firmware updates, these updates haven't resolved the offline problems. In fact, sometimes they seem to create new issues.**Overall Experience**: For the premium price point, I expected a lot more reliability from both the Nest Connect and the Google Yale Lock. The frequent offline status makes them unreliable for daily use. I cannot recommend these products until significant improvements are made to their connectivity and performance.I've been using the Nest Connect and Google Yale Lock for a few months now, and my experience has been frustrating, to say the least. Proceed with caution if you're considering adding these to your smart home setup.

Amazing lock system
Easy installation and implementation with a smart device. It is really convenient to needing one less key to carry or when I am not driving it's even better to not have to bring keys at all. Google home system works well with Nest thermostat. Also being able to check if the door is locked is a simple but great convenience and offers peace of mind.

Easy install
I was having a hard time installing it . I downloaded thier recommended app (BILT ) for installation wonderful app . I wish it had a Bluetooth option for opening and closing door not just the punch key option. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star. But all around a good product.

Works like a charm
Installed a new yale nest lock for the new front door; have had one before at previous house.I don’t get the negative reviews. This one I just bought and the one I used for my previous house are awesome.I did the physical installation myself; took 20 min. Then, just add it to the nest app; doing so will add it automatically to the google home app and to any google hubs around the house. Eg I can say to the google hub ; “hey google lock front door” and presto.Works great! 5 stars

Makes things so much easier!
Do you hate digging through your purse to find your keys? Do you start the car and then remember you forgot something in the house, only to have to turn the car off to take your keys with you back to the house? Do yourself a favor and buy this lock! You can remotely check and make sure you locked the door if you're one of those people who can't remember if they did or didn't! We bought one for our front and back door and it was the best choice ever!

The bolt may break
I love my Nest/Yale lock it’s so convenient easy to use and flexible for giving people access to my house if I’m not there.Unfortunately, after 3 years it stopped working the photo below is where the bolt broke. I bought a new one because they are great! A little expensive…Hope this helps!

Safest lock
This is a must-have if your kids can easily access and open the door. It immediately notifies you if the door opens or isn’t locked. The remote access and privacy mode feature is great to activate at night or when you are away from home. It’s a bit expensive, but it’s worth it.

Great for airbnb

Big regrets
For a door that has the knob set in further the dead bolt ends up being set inside 3/4”. Great spot for ice to build up - not a great feature if you live in Canada.Tried to connect to Nest and have had nothing but grief and frustration-had it setup and working on one phone and then lost it when adding another. It shouldn’t be this time consuming and difficult to get the lock setup on family smart phones. It’s still not working for me. 30 days return period is passed so looks like I’ll try selling it.
