(25) 12" Record Outer Sleeves - INDUSTRY STANDARD 3mil Thick Polyethylene - 12 3/4" x 12 1/2"

I am pleased and these suit my pupose. I have 6000 or so albums and not all are sleeved yet. I have experimented with many different sleeve companies and their proclamtions that their sleeves are best. I am sure you know what I mean. Only to find out they are too thin or too tight or too loose or not clear enough..blah, blah, blah. Well, to each is own of course, but personally I prefer better than average and am tired of false information or poor product quality. These sleeves suit me just fine. Nicely oversized...even fits double albums comfortably. Sometimes I will have a duplicate album and I will put them both in the same sleeve. They are durable, nice and clear, and sufficiciently thick. I bought a bunch and they came nicely packed flat in a sturdy box. I will always buy this product specifically from this company. I really do not think you will be disappointed. Some people do not like the oversized because sometimes they slide off when returning them to the shelf. I have seen that happen but not with these. These are comfortably over-sized and re-racking is a cinch.

Any reviews lower than 5 stars can be ignored. These are polyethylene sleeves. They're nothing fancy. They are meant to protect your records & more specifically their cases. I grew up listening to records before they became trendy; it was just how you bought music. These sleeves are far better than any sleeve records come with. They are thick & durable. I was also surprised that they both fit a single LP snugly (as they should) & can stretch enough to fit a 4-disc LP, which I did not expect. This product does its (albeit simple) job extremely well & I'd recommend them to anyone. I even shopped around, and can assure you that you won't find a better deal - certainly not with this level of convenience. I'm the sort of collector who actually listens to their records. I don't just own vinyl as a status symbol or talking point. Only recently did I even start to care about the difference in sound characteristics between CDs & vinyl. For me, vinyl is just fun to buy, enjoyable to play/listen to, and until recently CHEAP. With that in mind, I initially 2nd guessed my decision to buy new sleeves figuring it didn't make much difference. To my pleasant surprise, my records look nicer on the shelf, I'm confident that they are well protected, they're actually easier to get off the shelf, etc. I can't say enough good things about this purchase. Like the headline says: if you buy records, buy these sleeves.

I don’t even know where to begin with my review for these record sleeves. I know that probably sounds dramatic, but hear me out: I was once like you - assuming that something as simple as a sleeve for a record couldn’t really make a difference in my life. But these sleeves HAVE. I bought them because so many other reviewers talked about how “clear“ they are. For instance:“These are the clearest record sleeves I’ve ever seen.““These things are crystal clear!”“They’re so clear! They make the colors on my album covers pop!”So, I rolled the dice and bought them. Friend, I was not disappointed. As soon as I placed Toad the Wet Sprocket’s 1994 release “Dulcinea,” into one of the sleeves, I realized that the sleeves were...different. They weren’t just clear - they made me see CLEARLY. So clear in fact, that I’ve recently taken to wearing them over my head during my day-to-day life.Don’t worry, ha ha! I’ve poked some holes around the bottom to make sure I can breathe. But, looking at everything through the thin polyethylene of these sleeves has brought CLARITY to my vision. I’m seeing things I could NEVER see before. Like, ALL all the colors of the UV spectrum. People’s moods. My cat’s thoughts. My plant’s feelings...All the little happy bacterium that live in the yogurt. The list goes on and on.Oh...they were great at protecting my albums, too. Definitely give them a try.

I have probably about 1000 albums and these help keep the outer sleeves from more damage and help stop the ones that are damaged from getting worse. Great bags

These are nice... they're thick and I can tell they'll last. The downside is that they're a bit baggy (no pun intended). A regular single LP fits in there loosely and when I put the record back on the shelf (vertically like a book on a shelf) and the record kind of slides out of the bag. When my records are in a row, the bagginess makes it hard to see the spine and figure out what record is what. The gatefold double LPs are better because they're thicker so they're less baggy and don't slide around as much. The trifolds are perfect in there because they actually fit snuggly and don't slide out. The newer single LP albums fit a bit better because they are thicker records (typically 180g) and the album cover is a little thicker, but the classic records from the 70s that are thin and low profile just slide around a lot. I'll still put these on my records to keep them as nice as possible. I might end up putting a bit of clear scotch tape on the end stuck to the inside of the record sleeve to prevent it from sliding out. Overall, it's a good product but I might try a different brand for a different fit. It's better than no sleeve at all!

Purchased these album covers to protect albums. I acquired back in the early 70’s. I placed them over the original album cover which protects the cover from scratches

Disappointing buy - pretty shocked considering all the good reviews this has got. The plastic is thinner than expected which would have been okay if it was clear, but it is also very cloudy.It's barely adequate for a single LP and not that great for a double/gatefold.Better covers can be got from a local store in Singapore if you look hard enough - they are, of course, a lot more expensive.Caveat emptor all the way. A definitively poor quality product.

great for single LPs and even doubles... if the fit is tight on the doubles you can easily stretch the opening to accomodate.
