The only reason the vest is not rated at 5 stars (yet) is because I have not used it in the field yet. I REALLY LIKE THIS VEST. It does not have so many pockets that you over fill it. I find that with it loaded with my gear that it is comfortable. The quality of build reminds me of every Eberlestock bag I've owned from the military to the elk mountains. This thing is well thought out and will be a game changer for a set any where and be comfortable. The seat is thick and the magnets are large an strong that hold the seat when in the run and gun mode. Plus, it has a bladder pocket that accompanies a 100oz water storage device. I can honestly see this being a new piece of gear for all things predator hunting too. I'm 5'9" 220lbs and the standard fits perfectly. 5 STARS!!! Super comfortable and quiet and comfortable and durable. Yeah I don't have a full season in it yet but I've busted through thickets, cut-overs, and hiked nearly 15 miles with it on. It holds everything and then holds me upright when I sit. Allowed me to sit in a tree top comfortable enough to wait out a sketchy tom for over an hour! Best vest ever and I cannot wait to include it to my predator and deer ensembles

This is a very nice pack, especially for the price. It's very comfortable and holds a lot of gear. Some complained about the lack of separate pockets, but that doesn't bother me at all. I use this for hunting hogs. I can easily strap my Remington 700 BDL 30-06 with a scope on the back. It's nice and secure. I hand carry my AR-15 while I'm hiking through the woods. If I see an opportunity for a longer shot, it's real easy to remove my 30-06 and use it instead. It also has a pouch for a hydration pack. I just threw a Camelbak one in there. It does not come with one! It does have a separate pocket on top that's great for wallet, keys, phone and things like that. It has loops on the shoulder straps for attaching a knife or GPS. It also has a rain fly that comes out of a pouch on the bottom that pulls over the whole pack. I haven't had to use that yet but it's a nice feature. I really like this for hunting day trips.

This pack has been phenomenal. It's comfortable, has many straps for adjustments and gear. Bow can be securely strapped to the back and hiked for miles without coming loose if you do it right. Which may take longer to take on and off but it's worth it. The material is nice and soft and is very water repellent. Kept all my gear nice and dry. The gun pouch is real nice too cause you can also use it to hold some extra gear if you want or to protect the bottom cams of your bow. The only thing that I did to this pack was adding a small rectangular grill wire rack to give it some frame (and to have a cooking top in the woods) If I could complain about anything it would be that the side pouches for water bottles can be a bit to small for anything but water bottles. So if you had something else you wanted on the outside cause you can't get to the inside compartment of the pack easily with a bow on. Love it. I Suggest you buy this.

Overall this is a great vest but it does have its pros and cons. First thing for me was the kick stand. It’s a great concept but it’s to heavy for a turkey hunter that runs and guns or hunts the mountains. First thing I did was take it out which is a option. Not to say I won’t ever use it, it’s nice to have the option to use it or not too which I like. The quality of this vest is hands down some of the best with all buckels and straps easy to adjust. It has a lot of room and a very comfortable seat. The vest fits good and the fabric and zippers are quite. I ordered mine in mossyoak bottomland and the camo quality is 100%. I’m not a fan of the cell phone holder and would have traded that for a quality mouth call organizer instead of the plastic mouth call case on strap which is not easy to get too but can be removed. The inside pockets are good but could have been a little bigger in my opinion. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because I’ve not had it in the woods yet.

Very impressed with the value and quality of this pack and beats others I was looking at for much more $$$. More than enough space for your gear and plenty of hook ons to add even more on the outside of needed. Sling for gun is a really amazing feature and helps lighten up the load which makes for an easier day. Great pack...order and don't think twice, you won't regret it!

Awesome pack for day trip hunts. Plenty of room to store all of the essentials for a day of hunting. The included rain cover and gun holder is a nice touch too. Top notch pack. The only negative thing is, I wish there were a bit more internal pockets. But overall great pack.

I've been using an old Alice pack for a couple of decades. This is a huge improvement. Very comfortable and stays on my back so much better. Only 2 negatives. One, I wish it was a little bigger (that's more on me for not buying bigger). Two, I didn't think much of the gun sling but, I will say it works great for holding my jacket. Time will tell, for now I really like this pack

Very simply, I love this backpack. The built in blaze orange rain fly and rifle carrier have saved my bacon on a few occasions now on long hikes back to the truck. I love having a place to stow my rifle on the long hike into the woods without having to shoulder the rifle. This is just a fantastic, well built bag that is also very quiet. Very well designed zippers with pulls that can used when your hands are gloved. Has all the organization I need for a long hunt and is weighted and balanced right to not fatigue my shoulders or back.

The Good: Good quality backpack. Comfortable to carry on back. Does not make a lot of noise. Has bright orange waterproof rain cover. Used it for hunting and is very good day pack. Back straps is good to carry attach a seat / tarp / cover. The Bad / recommended improvements: Waist strap is not padded. Waist belt could have a small pocket / storage. Would want pockets / straps on the shoulder to attach the water bladder hose.

I was looking for a camo backpack as I just got into hunting. I looked at a bunch of stores in my area and everything was very expensive and didn't seem all that special in terms of quality. I took a chance on this backpack and am so glad I did. It's very comfortable and has room for everything I need. There zippers are hooded so you don't have to worry about rain, and it even comes with a hunter orange waterproof cover. This is one of the most comfortable backpacks I've ever owned and I'm stunned it cost under $100. You can't go wrong with this backpack.
