Perfect for very cold weather
I'm an avid Amazon shopper that tends not to review, but I had to post a rave review for these boots. I bought these specifically for a trip to Iceland this past week. As a native Floridian who isn't super familiar with snow boots, I knew I wanted something waterproof and comfortable. These boots fit the bill. I'm normally a size 9 but bought these in a 10 because I knew I'd need some extra room for thick socks. To be honest, I could have probably gone with a 91/2 but they were still very comfortable despite having a little extra room. No rubbing or digging into my feet at all. I traipsed through snow, climbed up and down snowy and icy paths, but never had cold feet and didn't have to worry about slipping and falling. It was SUCH a relief because cold, wet feet is the last thing you want to worry about when trekking around in cold, wintery conditions. The ONLY reason I give these 4 stars instead of 5 (wish I could give them 4 1/2!) is because I would have loved for them to have just a little more cushion. They never hurt my feet and weren't uncomfortable, it just is a personal preference to have a little more padding at the bottom. But overall, excellent boot. I am very happy with this purchase.

Good purchase
I am satisfied with this purchase and I can't wait to test these in Northern Europe very soon this review will be updated to reflect my experience. Shipping was fast and the item was nicely packaged. I normally wear 6.5 and went a half size up to accommodate for wool socks and following other reviews. I must admit that the boots seem larger than a mere half size up. They do feel warm and sturdy. Good ankle support. The overall fit is slightly large as expected. I'm giving this item 4 stars because I have yet to fully appreciate its potential. ALSO, the shoe laces' ends have a piece of leather attached to them. Although this gives a polish look, the functionality is lacking as there is an open row at the top that requires lacing when the cuff is lifted for more coverage. With the leather pieces at the end, it is impossible to thread the lace! Maybe I'm doing something wrong but it seems when the time comes, I'll have to chop those pieces off. Then comes the worry that the lace will fall apart as a result of being chopped off. Time will tell

beautiful boots!
I love the boots. They fit fairly well, not too wide, not too narrow. They are slightly long but that is an individual taste, and I'd rather that than too short. I love the look and the wooly interior and suede finish. They are warm, indeed waterproof, and they appear sturdy. The only change I would make would be the ties. Instead of having to tie them, I would have rather had the stretchy cords and clip than shoe strings. But, they are easy to get on and off, feel and look so good on that the shoe strings are quite acceptable. I've only had them 2-3 weeks, so the jury is not out yet, but they are poking their heads through the door!

I wanted these to fit soooo much
I was so excited when I opened the box because they look so good. But... they don't fit me. The toe box was too tight for me. If your foot matches these boots then good for you because they would be perfect for going around during the winter. They are slim/long type compared to other cushe boots I've tried which were more round in the toe- which I liked but they didn't fit as far as the height of the toe box. One last thing. They look nice ie not cheap at all. They are exactly what you would hope they'd be from the photo, nice finishing and details.

Comfy, warm boot - bigger than the size indicates
I really like these boots. I'm usually a borderline size 10.5 (snug fit) to an 11. I originally got the size 11 boots thinking I'd wear thick socks, and it would be perfect. Those boots were WAY too big for my feet. Easily they could fit a size 12 foot. I exchanged for a size 10 set of boots, and the fit is great. A size 10 boot in this style is easily a size 11 in American shoes. The size 10's are not a snug fit with a thick sock. It's a comfortable fit.

Good except for size
I liked my boot in all aspects, it is amazingly warm and comfortable, does not slide on the snow and ice. Also stylish, fits well with jeans and leggings very well. The only thing I could never find the size on the boxor the boot. And whereas usually size 9 on some brands is smaller to me this boot seems to be 2 size but 1 size definitely big to me.I could replace it but decided to keep as it was getting cold and I had spacious shoe fun this winter :)But I still liked this boots..

Happy warm feet
This was my go to boots for winter 2013-14. This winter in NY it was brutal. Snow piled high every other day. These boots kept my toes ultra warm during the polar vortex chill, snow and slush. They are also stylish, well made, waterproof ( toes completely dry in slush) , great price point and the convenience of shopping from home was the best part. The only thing I did not like is that the gummy soles and floor wax at work is a slippery mix. These boots were a little wide and long on my feet.

A little large for my US 6-ish feet but wonderful winter boots
These are a little roomy, even with thick socks on, but I love them and was afraid a 36 would be too small. Once I tried them on, I didn't want to send them back! They are warm and fuzzy and as far as I can tell, truly waterproof, which is important for keeping my feet warm since I use public transportation. The leather is not so fancy that I'm afraid to walk through slush and ruin them. I love the pine cone details in the design--carries through even to the tread on the soles, which I didn't notice until I got them at home. Very comfortable for walking. They seem well made and should last a few Chicago winters.
