Excellent summer and winter shades - protection from wind.
I wear these as regular shades when gardening. Gnats can't get to my eyes. In winter I wear them to keep wind out of my eyes. Very, very lightweight. Pleasant to wear when driving. If they get sweaty, wash under the kitchen faucet. Very good protection for your eyes and excellent sunglasses for regular use. I keep a spare pair in the car. I have never broken one, but I have scratched them up doing tree work when they protected my eyes from scrapes and falling branches. Price was excellent. I own several. They do not fall from your head if you are sweaty. One piece molded plastic viewing, no rims, no adjustments. The wide sides protect from bugs, debris and wind. They do not fold flat, but that's the point of the side protection. The side joint is sturdy. I have not broken any of them. No metal.
