Buying these here is the best value I have found. The length of time these stay warm is perfect, and the sizing on them works for all of us that use these. We use them when we go to Cold weather NFL games and they last through the game most of the time and very functional. I have not used these for pain relief but I can see where the could be very helpful for it.

I ride motorcycle (2016 Harley Limited) long distances (about 25k or more per year) and sometimes in the winter. In the cold weather I use these under my jacket to keep me warm. They generally work well, but sometimes I get a batch that don't work as well. They are variable. I don't know if it is a particular style or possibly a batch comes out different, or possibly old stock. However, even the ones that don't work so good do provide some heat. Just be sure to READ THE DIRECTIONS and DON'T put them right next to your skin. My wife did that on a long ride and got a 2nd degree burn on her belly. They do get HOT! I just put them in the pockets of my jacket/wind breaker and that keeps me warm down to 35 degrees F. I do NOT ride in snow or icy conditions. Too dangerous on a scooter.

I had to be outside in the freezing cold for long hours and put this on my back (attached to clothing). It was amazing how warm it kept me and was quite soothing for an achy back. I kept it on the entire day and it was hot the whole time. This would be perfect for feet too. They aren't as bulky as the original hot hands, and you barely know it's there except for the amazing heat it gives off.
