I bought these discs because it specifically says it would hold a Garmin on my car dashboard. The package comes w/2 discs. The first one came off during the first day of use. It could not hold the light weight of the Garmin. The 2nd one fell off after 4 days but that’s because I was taking the Garmin off when I parked my vehicle for the night. Once I left it on for 1 day, sure enough, the disc adhesive did not hold yet again causing the whole set up to fall down to floor of the vehicle. These discs do not stick to my dashboard. It was cleaned beforehand BOTH times. This product did not work for me and it certainly does not hold a Garmin as advertised

I cleaned my dash with alcohol before sticking this pad on the flat surface. I let it alone for 24 hours. It didn't hold for more than 12 hours. My phone mount is not that heavy. This is the right size product, but it doesn't stick, so it is useless. I gave this 3 stars because this is the review most people read.

These are very good quality, the sticky on the pad is great, mine is on a curved part of my dash so only 3/4 is stuck on and have had sat nav many times, but while not using the sat nav i hook my sunglasses arms behind the rear lip and my glasses never moved yet. Would buy them again if it comes off, but i am sure its not coming off anytime soon.

Ho acquistato questi dischi adesivi per risolvere un problema comune: il cruscotto della mia auto è in plastica rugosa e le normali ventose non fanno presa. Inoltre, ho sempre evitato di attaccare supporti al parabrezza perché non amo l'ingombro sul vetro. Perché li consiglio: In passato avevo provato altri dischi simili, ma dopo pochi mesi – specialmente sotto il calore estivo – finivano sempre per staccarsi. Con questi, invece, ho avuto un'esperienza completamente diversa. Ne ho installati due sul mio cruscotto per sostenere supporti per cellulare, tablet e GPS: si tratta di carichi non indifferenti, eppure sono lì da circa due anni senza il minimo cedimento. La qualità dell'adesivo 3M si nota tutta ed è una garanzia. Consiglio per un'installazione perfetta: Per ottenere questo risultato duraturo, il segreto è la preparazione. Ecco come ho fatto io: Pulizia: Ho pulito accuratamente la zona del cruscotto con dell'alcol per rimuovere ogni traccia di polvere o grasso. Pressione: Una volta applicato il disco, consiglio vivamente di metterci sopra un peso per facilitare l'adesione ottimale. Io ho utilizzato un disco da 2 kg (da palestra) lasciandolo in posizione per 24 ore. Il risultato è una tenuta perfetta che dura nel tempo, tanto che ho appena effettuato un secondo ordine per l'auto di mia moglie. Se cercate un prodotto che resti incollato anche dopo molto tempo e sotto stress, questo è quello giusto.
