Real Barrier Extreme Cream

The cream saves my face. My skin barrier was compromised after using a new skin care product. The skin around my lips, in the neck and on the eye lids became swelling, red and itchy. After applying this cream, itchiness stopped within minutes. After 5 days, the swelling and redness are gone. The cream is thick but not greasy. There is a scent of tea tree oil. It blends well with the sunscreen I use. My skin has a subtle glow.

This is a thick cream but not oily or hard to spread on the skin. In fact, it has a mattifying effect on the skin after applying. It did not sting when I applied to my barrier damaged skin, which is a huge deal (because even products like vanicream sting). I also love the light herbal spa-like scent. Will purchase again for sure. Highly recommend to people with dry, damaged sensitive skin.

I went too heavy handed on retinoids and ended up compromising my skin barrier. This cream saved my skin. I went from hypersensitive stinging and flaking, patchy dryness to fully recovered soft skin within a week. The cream is definitely on the heavier and thicker side, and I was worried I was going to experience irritation (because at the worse point my skin was reacting to even gentle cleansers meant for sensitive skin), but had absolutely no irritation at all. Slathered this on liberally every night for a week on my problem areas (forehead, cheeks, chin, corners of my mouth), and then did a regular amount for another week after that and my skin barrier is good as new. It's not sticky by any means but it is a thick cream. I have no skin barrier issues right now, so I bring this to business trips because hotel air dries me out like no other, or if I feel like my skin needs extra help overnigt, this is what I put on. Will absolutely buy agaim when I run out.

Very good moisturizer, keep my skin from peeling in cold weather. Feel heavy on the skin at first but it settles fast.

I’ve been looking for a face cream that keeps my face moisturized. I have really dry skin so many others that claim they keep your skin hydrated don’t work. This actually does for my skin. This cream goes on so smooth and cools the skin at the same time. A little goes a long way. I mainly wear it at night. The scent is very minimal that I don’t really notice it. The price on this is better than most. I like that this is high quality. I might switch to the lighter version during the warmer months, but I think this would still work year round.

I’ve been buying this product for several years now and have not found another that meets its quality. I have very itchy sensitive skin and this product not only relieves the itch but moisturizes my skin. I’m 78 years old and there’s not much that can help the quality of my skin as far as age, but this product definitely soothes the itching and keeps my skin moisturized.

Hi I am giving this cream a 3. The name, one might think says it all. I do my homework when it comes to my skin care. I might not be able to afford a high-end cream that I was using before. I love shiseido. But it's costly, so i need to find alternatives when cash IS low. Believe me when I tell you, this is no small job! I search i read. I read, I compare. This takes hours for me. I came upon This cream, did my research and decided to purchase. Now to be fair to the product, this might be wonderful for you. For myself it felt light weight. I want to feel my skin plump. I want to be moisturized through the night. Wake up with that creamy beautiful product on my skin with a plump silky feel. This cream did not meet my expectations. Again, give this a try yourself you might like it. What's good for the goose is not always what's good for the gander. Enjoy.

My favourite product by far, it’s thick, creamy, applies well and smells so good! My skin is very specific to moisturisers and ones containing oils never usually work well and lead to me having breakouts, but this one is perfect and leaves my skin feeling nourished.
