These brackets are great for odder shapes and even regular 4x4. This is anodized before its cut/bend and may not last as long as a post shaped galv dipped item. However, if the project is a patio cover this will likely last fine, apply paint, sealer or w/e if you want it to laat longer.

very sturdy, similar to a Simpson brand post bracket. intended to use it for a post that i could not remove but I ended up not having to use it due to the position of the screw holes. otherwise, the construction of it is very strong for a no-name brand.

I bought this for 2 by 2 however it leaves a huge gap so you cannot use two to envelope the stick. I had to return. Also overpriced for what it offers. Similar sets often come with screws etc but this came with nothing
