Elevated Pet Bathing

Oh my word! Where has this been in all the years of bathing my dogs?!!?!? I cannot recommend this enough! In fact, I would give it more stars than 5..... It is just as described in every way! I do NOT DREAD washing my dog anymore. Even though I am about 5'7" and could use about 2-3 more inches of height on this bath thingy, it is suuuuch an improvement over a tub on the ground or in the house or a shower. It has saved my back muscles tremendously!!! AND AND AND there is no having to scrub down the bathroom after a dog bath. The bathing is done outside and all the shaken water can go wherever. There are several things I love about this bath "tub," but the best is that the dog cannot jump out. Well, chances are against that, unless you have a dog that is afraid of its shadow. If your dog likes a bath or even can barely tolerate one (but not highly aggressive), I bet this thing will calm him/her down. There is a collar in the tub that is tethered, left/front and right/front, to the tub. That is very effective with my beagle (beagles tend to be very compliant, but also escape artists). Also, the water just drains down to the back, through a hole, into an attached hose, and out onto open ground. Just spray down the tub and inside mat and let it dry before storing. I have found the whole thing, even though plastic, is very sturdy and strong. Also, my dog sits and stands while being bathed. I encourage you to measure your dog , front paws to back paws, before ordering in case your dog will be one that prefers standing.

I have decided to stop taking our dogs to the groomer every month and go back to washing our dogs myself. But washing them on the driveway sucks. Neither of my dogs likes baths so they don’t stay still, I get wet, the water from the hose continues to run while I’m shampooing them which is waste, and my back hurts from bending down and wrangling then the whole time for two dogs. So I decided to buy a stand up tub. The raised tub and harness were the selling points for me. I bought a large and that was a good size for us. My dogs are 45 and 50 lb medium dogs (Aussie Shepherd and small Malinois). I believe the sizes listed by the manufacturer are accurate. The tub could easily be used by larger dogs I just like the extra room. Setting it up was fairly easy. The hardest time I had was snapping the top rim of the tub to the bottom portion. It fits in a groove and you insert the ridged tabs into slots. Some of them were easy to get in, others were quite difficult. I finally used the end of rubber mallet handle to give me the leverage to get them in that worked well though. Everything else was very quick and easy to set up. I love the harness for keeping the dogs in place. The rubber mat is great. I wan’t sure if the shampoo cup was going to fit my oval bottle of shampoo and next to the bottle of conditioner (I thought maybe it was just designed for two round bottles) but they both fit just fine. I didn’t wind up using the sprayer since I bought a separate sprayer but I did clip it onto the side of the tub and it seems like that would be really convenient. With the legs tapering outward it makes it really stable. I was comfortable stepping back at the end to allow them to shake the water out of their fur a couple times before taking them down. It’s large so you do need a good place to store it when it’s not in use. The legs are easy to put in and remove (no screws involved in that part) so that makes it easier and would make it more portable.

My back appreciates this elevated bath set up very much. Large enough that my dog was able to get up the steps easily, securely clipped in, and was able to turn around fully to step out. The grooving at the bottom of the tub prevented slipping and sliding. The base is solid and sturdy. It is a little bulky and requires a larger storage area in the garage but I would rather have that than a foldable, less stable footing. Saw some cheaper options available, but this product is quality. 100% would recommend to other dog parents.

Started off a little rough with this product, it arrived but without the hardware bag. I called and customer service was amazing!! They immediately sent out the hardware bag and it arrived within two days. The guy was extremely nice and apologized for the inconvenience. I was very happy with the customer service! Once the hardware arrived I was able to assemble it with much ease! I have washed 5 of my dogs so far in it - 3 boxers (weight range from 50-80lbs), blue heeler (45lbs), and German Shepherd/Blue Tick Hound (60lbs). It is very sturdy and I was so glad to finally have both hands free to be able to wash the dogs comfortably. I usually have to hold a leash and keep them from trying to get away while trying to wash them at the same time. All of my dogs except one of the boxers stood there and I was able to walk around freely to wash them. My one boxer does have some issues and did freak out and was able to jump out of the tub (partly my fault) but luckily I was able to unclip the collar quickly so he didn’t choke. This is the reason why I gave 4 stars. I think it would be a good idea if the company was able to either shorten the straps some more or allow for them to be shortened more to prevent this from happening. I will do some DIY sewing to shorten them up a bit for future use with my one boxer. Don’t let this deter you from getting this product though, like I said this was partly my fault for not keeping a good eye on him knowing he would probably freak out. I love the hose attachment it is better than any garden hose attachment I have ever used to wash my dogs. I was very nervous about buying this product not knowing if it would be big enough or sturdy enough for all my dogs. I sat on it for two weeks before I finally decided to spend the money to purchase it and I am very pleased so far. I bought the large and it is the perfect size for my full grown dogs. I would definitely recommend the booster bath!!!

Pratica da usare per chi ha lo spazio, e fatta in ottimo materiale. Un po costosa, e bisogna aspettare per la spedizione, ma ne vale la pena per non avere più mal di schiena. Sono riuscita ad acquistarla a 250 euro circa, contro gli oltre 300 che costa normalmente

This bath is amazing. No more bad backs or heavy lifting. Dogs love it and no mess in the house.
