Vortex Razor Angled 85mm Helical Focus Scope Case, Black

The clips for both of the lens covers are very hard to open. One of the anchor points for the ocular cover pulled out in the first 15 minutes of use. Considering how awesome the Vortex scope is that I bought this for I was more than a little surprised.

This protects the scope and replaces the lens caps with convenient covers. The eye-piece cover is too tight to be easily removed and replaced, even with disconnecting one of the elastic bands. Also, it is difficult to get it on the scope so that the zoom scale is visible. HOWEVER, it is well worth the money and is still a very convenient way to protect the scope when you are carrying your tripod and scope through the bushes. I am still quite happy with it, even though there is room for improvement.

Doesn't fit very well,it is very loose and awkward,not tight fitting like you would expect so not really much protection. It does not work with the wide angle eye piece either.

I find it to be just a touch too long which makes it really difficult to add the digital camera adapter, so we only used it for one day.

Provides good protection for the scope and it went on without any problems. However I only gave it a four because the strips that hold the eye piece cover on came off after some heavy use. The need to be attached better.

This fit perfect and is easy to use with the pull off/pull on protectors for the two ends. Much better than the cover that ships with the scope.

The scope cover is exactly what I wanted. It works and fits great. Reason for the 4 star review is the hole for the rotational lock could be larger to aid in its use.

I am really disappointed! I just got my spotting scope and plan on doing a lot of hiking with it so the idea of this case sounded great. I ordered the case separate from amazon and it got here before the scope. I pulled the case on and it is very sloppy in the fit with bulges in places(particularly right under the focus knobs which is annoying when focusing. the lens covers are attached by a hard flat plastic piece with an elastic strip. these are sewn on the inside of the covers and the plastic would definitely scratch the scope and eyepiece over time. One of these is coming off at the stitching and I have not even used the scope yet. Again all I did is pull it over the scope and I am disappointed. I am not going to take the chance of the cover attachments damaging?scratching my brand new $1600 scope. very poor quality and craftsmanship!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sending it back immediately!
