Fits but READ ABOVE comment.
This does not fit a 2001 z28 camaro as promised ... it has 3 bolt holes instead of two .... this is for lS 2 beginning in 2004. ******* correction ********* it does fit and the 3rd hold is where a " christmas tree screw plug goes ... YOU MUST take that screw plug ... OFF ... the OLD thermostat being replaced ... and put it on the new one. MUST be done for the DIY person without out much experience.

Great price with great value and great quality.
185 degree thermostat backed by Gates long history of making quality OEM replacement parts. The thermostat has to be 185 degrees or higher for smog parts to correctly burn off CO or HCO. If you install a Hypertech PP III than you can install a 160 degree thermostat. Remember to change your thermostat every 5 to 8 years or 50,000 miles to ensure proper working order.
