No CD inside!
I didn't receive the CD! And you can't log in online to view the CD anyway. It's pathetic!

Adequate - but not outstanding
This is a very simple and clear textbook, covering the current Edexcel IGCSE syllabus for physics. The chapters are designed to give an explanation of each topic and then follow up with questions to test understanding. I do have a few reservations - some of the experiments do not have all the equipment labelled, or lack a full explanation; I have found at least one typo in the worked examples; there are no answers to the end-of-chapter questions that I have yet found (fine for the written answers which just require regurgitating the content from the chapter, but it would be useful for the students to be able to see that their use of formulae is giving the correct results). My favourite physics textbook is still the old one I bought about 8 years ago, that covers the Cambridge IGCSE course. It has much better explanations, background information and diagrams.

Fantastic book--but we can't find how to get the answers either!
This is an absolutely fantastic book. Well written, with everything very clear. Other reviewers mentioned that they couldn't find instructions on how to get the answers, but I thought they just weren't looking properly........ so I ordered.... Well, we can't find them either! With some difficulty, I've found an email address on the Pearson website, and have asked for the answers. It would be so much easier though, if the answers were published as a loose-leaf insert with the book, or on another CD (as they are with the corresponding revision guide (another fantastic book). Fab, fab book, put please publishers--add a little insert telling us how to get the answers without having to go through so many hoops!

Pretty Good
Quite informative, yet, simple.Comes with a soft copy of the book therefore, it's not a must you carry the book around everywhere. Just have it on your laptop or something. However, there are like tests and stuff in the book and I believe that would require an 'answers' section of the book (which does not exist). I believe this because someone could be working with the things in those questions and mini tests and not realise that he/she is writing a whole lot of rubbish because he/she can't find the exact answers in the notes in that chapter.Besides that, the book's pretty good and a must-have.(p.s SevenOaks School recommends this book)

Good Purchase Made
The book was in very good condition. Previous owner had initials written inside the cover but all in all it was unblemished and the activebook cd is included and its very well presented. Very good book to restart the learning of physics with. Very happy, thanks!
