New Balance574, Unisex-Adults' Trainers

These trainers are very comfortable. I walk a lot at work and I was looking for something comfortable but at the same time discreet and that were not colorful running trainers as appearance is important at work and they don't allow normal trainers. I had a hard time getting them because this model was out of stock everywhere (at least for small sizes, I wear a 5 and it fits perfectly, true to size) but in the end I found them on Amazon. A bit more expensive than I would have liked but so far I'm happy with the purchase, they're easy to wear, stylish and they provide a good support for long walks in the city. They're not waterproof though.

Shoe is well made and comfortable wear.

We bought the wide fit trainer for our 11 year old who it’s difficult to find shoes that fit for due to wide feet and high arches. He thought they were slightly too tight initially but has got used to them and wears them daily. They look great on him and the price was good too. He’s a UK 4 and the sizing was just right.

Love the shoes and was looking for this colourway at a good price. Amazing comfort they feel like clouds. The 574s always seem to come under fire for the sizing issues people have. This would be avoided if you checked a pair of shoes that fit you and had a look at the sizing tag where it should show the CM measurement of the shoe. For example, i am a 6.5 usually in nike trainers. This is 25.5cm. Therefore if u look at new balances sizing charts this correlates to a size 7 in their shoes. Similar to the way adidas sizing works also. Nothing new and quite common when buying from a different shoe brand! As a general rule of thumb, it means you should go up .5 of a size when buying from new balance.

Already have a pair of these retro 574s. I am a size 8 UK, but was warned that they come in small, so had an 8.5. Just about right. These new ones were smaller and narrower than my originals, so returned for a size 9. Fit is ok and a bit narrower, possibly could have gone for 9.5 UK. So order at least a half to a full size bigger.

Only just had these trainers so this more on the sizing issue,because I was also bit sceptical of buying them if size wasn't right.I'm a confident size 9,only twice in buying shoes or trainers have ever gone for half sizes,that would be these New Balance,and Adidas Terex.9.5 UK size in these trainers fit just right,still have a little wriggle room for my big toe at the front,width is ok,and my feet don't feel squashed either in length or width.So if you're a confident size 9 normally,9.5 will be a good fit.As for durability of trainer can't say,haven't had long enough,but they're light comfy on feet.

574 is such a brilliantly crafted trainer that I cannot express enough how comfortable it is when you slide your feet inside it. Never going to change my choice.
