It does not work well for dry ingredients which is what I bought it for. There is not a smooth transition from the upper section to the lower section which causes dry goods to "catch" on the lip and not flow smoothly. Also, you can't really tell from the pictures but the lower section is folded in on itself which causes a restriction. I have tried to use this funnel to fill my peppermills with peppercorns and it fails miserably. It might work okay for liquids but not for dry ingredients.

The product is as described. For that, I give it 4 stars. I bought this on a lightning deal and I'll call it what it was...an impulse buy. I could use a funnel for olive oil and whatnot. Today, it's on sale as a Lightning Deal for even less than what I paid. On top of that, I found it at a major discount home goods type store for under $5.00. So, shame on me for the impulse buy. Sometimes, these deals aren't as good as they seem.

I guess it is my fault for not noticing from the displayed pictured, but the tip of the funnel which goes in containers is straight, It makes it harder to slide narrower openings. Most funnels start thick then thin so they can be inserted into smaller rims. With this one, you get just one chance, if it is too big to go in, then you have to find another, but I'm not wasting more money on a second thinner tip....

I use this to pour my used Grape Seed Oil in a wine bottle for re-use later. I like the filter for cleaning the oil.

Was happy to got this, but when we open it, it's totally different from the picture. The picture has company LOGO n OTHERMAX, but this one is not and it's made using regular Aluminums. BAYER BEWARE. WASTING my time, now need to go to Kohl to return it.

This is a very well made heavy duty stainless funnel, Not some cheap product. It's truly is a Heavy Duty Stainless Funnel. It replaced my rusted metal one I had been using. The filter is a nice added feature that my old one lacked.

I would not have expected to be thrilled with a funnel, but here I am. The perforated-plate filter works great and is easy to remove and clean. The ridge in the stem does make it a little harder to clean, but guarantees that air can escape from the container while you pour. The metal is a good weight--not flimsy.
