Compeed Cold Sore Patch 30 Patches ( Of 15 Patches) 2 Packs

I have read about Compeed patches but no stores sell them! I ordered from Amazon about 6 months ago after I had the WORST coldsore of my life. I had been doing a daily regiment of taking 1 1000mg of Lysine and a TB of coconut oil to avoid an outbreak. It worked until I had dental work done and behold the terrible tingle started yesterday along with a swollen lip :( I hurried and stuck the patch on which I cut in half because it was just on my actual lip. It was easy and I couldn't see it. By this morning(12 hours later) the swelling is completely gone. I decided to apply a full one this time to cover all possible areas. Still, I can barely see anything. Normally whenever a coldsore comes along, my confidence is shot. I just want to curl up and hide from the world. My hubs notices my sadness before I even tell him one popped up. Now, with a Compeed patch, I feel so much better. My life can go on like normal and no one even knows that a demon is on my lip. I'm sooooo happy I bought these and will keep them around forever. I highly recommend!

I have tried EVERYTHING for cold sores, and nothing has helped that much. For some dumb reason, I always get cold sores before my cycles and even if I can feel them coming no other remedies have helped. This last month, when I felt the tingle, I used a qtip dipped in apple cider vinegar on the spot that was hurting until the burning stopped, and then after it dried applied this patch. Legit by morning it was gone. I had to do it on another spot that wanted to pop up a couple days later and I tried the same routine, and again, it was gone by morning. If you get cold sores, you know what a bummer they can be, especially when things stop helping. I’m really excited I have found something that works for me.

These are amazing. Cold sores suck, but a big part of what stresses me out about them is worrying that I'm accidentally spreading the virus while it's shedding. These cover them up, removing that worry, and they also help avoid the gross scabby period of time, too, since they're covering the sore and keeping it moist. The bandages aren't totally invisible, but they look MUCH better than uncovered sores, and they keep your lip basically lip-colored, and not angry and red. Lipstick goes on pretty well over them, but concealer is kind of hit-or-miss.While these are great, if you get significant sores with swelling, lymph node enlargement, etc., you will definitely want to combine this with acyclovir. The patches alone don't do much to shorten the time of the cold sore for me.Lastly, the package recommends changing them every 12 hours - I recommend doing it less often, since pulling a patch off of the fragile skin of a healing blister can cause issues on its own. If you do want to remove it before it's gotten a bit loose, it's easiest to do after a hot shower or after using a warm compress on your lip, since that'll help the adhesive release.

I am another person who unfortunately have had cold sore for years. I've had it for over 20 years, and I used to have them frequent enough. I couldn't do anything about it, or didn't know what to do about it. Then revolutionary thing happened. I bought this, L-Lysine/ Car Max all together. So this is what I do. When I get that tingly feeling, i take L-Lysine (3000 mg per day), then use carmax before it forms the bubble, then sometimes it just goes away without starting. But if it forms bubble, I just apply this little thing over cleaned lips, then, it makes it sort of 'invisible'. i mean it is visible, but the color isn't as strong, so it blends in. Then i continue to take L Lysine (2000 mg -3000mg a day), apply this one (don't apply carmax at this point when you have bubbles). eventually it'll lighten up and just disappear. Magic!

I don’t get cold sores all that often, usually due to stress, but when I get one it is REALLY bad. They typically lasts for 2 weeks and looks awful and are incredibly painful. I usually take oral prescriptions and use Abreva and other topicals, but after discovering these, I don’t need anything else! Absolutely incredible. My cold sore was completely healed in 4 days using these patches 24hrs non-stop. Only time I took it off was to change it. I highly highly recommend. I have 2 packs on hand, ALWAYS!

I have suffered from cold sores since a very young age. They are embarrassing and painful. I wish I had known about these a long time ago. I have tried pretty much everything you can think of for cold sores including prescription medication. Most treatments don't really help THAT much. These are different! As soon as I start to feel a cold sore forming I put one on. Sometimes I don't get one at all and even when I do, using these prevents the cold sore from getting big and they go away faster. Before applying, I dry my lips with a paper towel to help the patch stick. I then leave it on until it starts to get loose which usually doesn't happen for 8-12 hours. Anyone who gets cold sores definitely should give these a try.

I will never stop buying these. They are a literal lifesaver. You put them on and they are invisible for the most part (some parts of the mouth are more difficult than others to conceal-- like the inside of the lip) -- but you can wear lipstick on them, and they block that gross "bumpy" feeling of a cold sore-- not to mention increase healing time since they are medicated with Zovirax. I have learned to avoid acidic foods/drinks if I get a breakout as well, which cuts back on sore time.

I actually think these are better than the discontinued polysporin ones. If you are prone to cold sores I 100% recommend.
