Great investment for ages 1-7
I am a big Amazon shopper...yet new to leaving reviews. I've realized how much I depend on them when making a purchase. So I'm choosing my favorite (and not so favorite) items and will share my experience with you. Please like if I am helpfulI adore this magnetic kit. 5 star product if you know how to make the most of it. I have an old potato/produce bin that I painted long ago in Mickey colors. In the past it's always been our link-a-doo station, keeping links in the top big compartment and add-on items in the bottom. But now that my kids are 13/6/1.5 at age l, link-a-doo s get old fast. So I decided to turn it into a magnetic station. This item was a great start. I used a spray adhesive to mount the magnetic sheet to the top of the bins lid. Inside the big big I have an assortment of Melissa & Doug wooden magnets. Animals/Vehicles/Dinosaurs/shapes Also very awesome products. And then the foam alphabet magnets are in the bottom drawer. I have 30 link-a-doos left I store on top to discourage my 1.5 year old from abusing the letters (still a big young for them) But my 6 year old loves building words with them and making notes on the sheet from this kit. And my 13 year has found ways to bond with her little brothers over this station. I've included some photos, I couldn't be happier with this. When my 1.5 year old is using it independently, he puts his animals on the sheet, makes their sound, and when it's full he whips the top up just fast enough it clears the board. Haha. Endless fun! And I feel like I've made this product more durable by applying it to a surface. Only downside is there's no flip side...but what they don't know... 😉

Great Product and Company
Absolutely perfect for my grandson. He just started kindergarten and he wants to spell everything. I was using the $ store letters for him but we decided that was not enough letters and he needed lower case. The letters are a nice size and I love the fact that the letters are foam and the backing is all magnet.I did have one issue. I was missing a green J, which normally I would have not worried about it but we need the upper case J for his name. I contacted the seller and asked if I could get a green J sent out, instead they sent me an entirely new set and told me to keep the original. That is amazing customer service, and I am extremely happy that I chose KAKATIMES as the seller. I highly recommend the 168PCS set.UPDATE: My grandson loves the set so much I purchased a second one for him to take home. All he wants to do is spell words.

No activation card in box!! Will company answer my email?
TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED with what looks like a great product. DID NOT COME WITH AN ACTIVATION CARD! While not totally useless, there can be no interaction at all with an iPad without the card. I wrote to company using their “contact us” email. Will update if I get a response from the company.

A few problems
First I want to say that my 3 year old son really likes these letters. I have only a few problems, 1) as you can see from the picture, a few of the letters already lost their magnetic backing and I only had them for about a month. 2) I don't know how to link the Flashcards it comes with to the app. 3) I'm so afraid my infant will swallow one of the pieces. Otherwise it's a good number of letters and enjoyable for my son to play with.

SCRATCHES STAINLESS STEEL APPLIANCES, STINKY OFF-GASSING
These magnets are good- as long as you don't let the kids play with them on stainless steel appliances. My beautiful refrigerator now has scratches all over it. I am NOT HAPPY about this to say the least. I even tried it myself, thinking maybe the scratches has been there before and I just hadn't noticed them. Wrong. I slid one of them about an inch and 6 scratch marks appeared. I have since learned that all magnets scratch stainless steel appliances, but at the time when I bought these I was unaware of that fact. The product description specifically says "no more fridge scratches."The magnets themselves are good as far as quality goes. Durable and of a good size, although the size on some of the capitals compared to the lowercase ones is off a little, which can make it a little confusing to kids learning to write their ABCs. Seeing as the entire back side is magnetic, there is no problem with them falling off the surface you put them on.The product description says these are non-toxic, which I'm not buying. The magnets off-gassed horribly when I opened the bags, I had to let them air out overnight before letting the kids even play with them. It makes me uneasy as to what chemicals are in the foam to make them smell THAT strong. It's been 2 weeks now and they still smell very faintly. For many people this probably isn't a huge issue, but for me it is. For that reason I will be replacing them with wooden ones made with non-toxic glue and paints. For anyone not concerned about fridge scratches and off-gassing, these get 4 stars. For anyone who has stainless steel appliances and is aware of the dangers of toxic chemicals in kids toys, they get 2 stars. For the amazon review I'll split the difference. 3 stars.
