I have rechargable headlamps that I use for night fishing. The problem with them is that you can fully charge them and store them and when needed they’re ready to go. Hold on not so easy. They lose power when stored. I decided that I wanted a good headlamp with red light capability that ran on batteries. This deal was for two of them so I’ve loaded the batteries in one and I’ve put the battery packet with three batteries in the other, batteries still in the wrapper. In this way, I am ready to go and will never be without nightlight! These are really nice lightweight and I highly recommend them. They have both white and red lighting.

I was very surprised at the quality of this lamp. Multiple brightness settings plus strobe; all modes shut off with a single push, rather than having to cycle thru the various modes.I now use this lamp as my main cave exploring lamp as well as everyday use.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I use red headlamps when I am stargazing. All designs I have seen make me cycle through sequential red light and white light before reaching off. If I am using red light, it defeats the purpose of clicking through white light settings before I can turn off the head lamp.I like this design because there is a separate button that controls the red light, on the right side. I can turn the red light on and off without the white light coming on.Also, the white light can be covered with tape without interfering with the red light. I haven't been able to find a red light only headlamp, but this is the next best thing.

Do not buy this, the two outer small lights do nothing, no instructions and returns are not free with our jumping through hoops or going to some drop off over 10 miles away

Comfortable and solidly made.Does the job well … I use it to help me lighten up the project I’m working on. Having the light move with my line of sight helps to always see what I’m working on. Much easier than having to rearrange a work light all the time. Especially when my project is clamped in.

I bought this headlamp mainly for the red light. When you install new batteries it works great! The biggest issue is the second time you use it and after. I turned the headlamp off and went to use it a few nights later and the white light was incredibly weak and the red light turned on and immediately turned off. I tried multiple batteries, both non rechargeable and rechargeable and had the same issue. I am not sure if it is a wiring issue but it seems like the batteries are drained really fast even when the light is not in use. Which is not helpful when you don't have a bunch of spares on hand. Tried to use it for night hiking a few days after I put in fresh batteries and it was so weak my phone flashlight was better. I had the same issue for both headlamps so it wasn't just a defective lamp.

Brighter than expected. Painted the bottom of clear lenses black to eliminate annoying glair on top of my glasses, tape would also work. Thicker strap clips than many others. Ordered two then two more after initial evaluation.
