Cozion Infrared Lamp, 275W Near Heat Lamp, Home Use…

I bought this product because it provides near infra-red light, which has been shown to have a wide range of health benefits, rather than for pain relief alone.The lamp is large and robustly constructed with an attractive retro look - I can recall several similar products being available during the 1960s.A rotating switch raises the current as you turn it clockwise, which enables the desired intensity. Even at a only a quarter turn, a very warm glow is provided and this is the setting I would tend to use it at.Overall, a good quality product that represents value for money which I am content to recommend based on my initial impressions.

Impressed by the lamp, good sturdy construction, easy to use,. it's easy to lose tract of time so I find using a timer is helpful.

I have used this a couple of times on my shoulder, it eases the pain and the heat level is easily adjusted, they will also supply a replacement bulb if it fails in the 1st 6 months.you need to position the lamp in the required position before you turn it on, you have to let the bulb warm up a bit before you spend 10 mins under the heat lamp using it 4 times a week.I would recommend this

If you are buying one of these types of heat lamps you need to understand that heat bulb filaments are very fragile, and easily damaged by movement or shock either hot or cold in a similar way to an old filament light bulb.

I love this lamp SO MUCH....that I've even got one for my elderly Mum as well. She uses it every day!! On her painful hip & back. Takes her pain scores down from 8 to 6-4. Putting some soothing music on for half an hour whilst you bathe in its light is just BLISS.

Light therapy works well, I know as I have used a hand held device for years. I gave this a try as it was mains powered so thought it would be more powerful. This is much more powerful which is a bonus but becase it is shaped as a lamp I found it hard to position it for certain areas of the body and if you want it on your back then I ended up asking my partner to move it and hold it for me in position. The neck is ajustable but needs to be a bit longer to reach all areas. Its fine for arms and legs and hands.I was a little wary of using this because of the need to test it out to see if my skin wouldn't have an adverse reaction to the light. The good thing was I patch tested it and it was fine to continueThe heat it emits can be varied, but to start off with I just had it at a fairly low level so I could ease into the routine over a weekAssembly is easy enough since it's just inserting the big red bulb into the lampshade and working out the slots for the protective metal grille.Now we get to the design flaw. Since its lamp shaped its fine for things like hands or knees etcBut I needed this for my shoulder and neck. There was no way I could hold it up there on my own or angle it sufficiently to do soIn the end I had to get my other half to hold it for me whilst the heating did its thingI think for the price you would expect them to have thought about this issue.This is why the rating has been knocked down a couple of stars

I was very sceptical about the lamp initially, however it works wonders with my psoriasis. Finally, found something that works (I am using the lamp 10 minutes 5 to 6 days a week).
