Fit like a charm. Was it flimsy like other users claim? Yes. Was the OEM BMW filter I removed flimsy? Yes. Don’t waste your money on a filter with a heavy frame. I was able to install the filter without crumpling it by moving aside a bundle of wires that caused an interfere. Great value for money; easy, satisfying project; clean smelling AC.

It's a paper pleated filter. I could not see any difference between this filter and original BMW branded filter. Comes with good step by step guide with pictures. Fits 07-15 X5 and 08-14 X6.

The filter element is very thin. Be careful not to break it

If you vehicle has original BMW Honeycomb synthetic material HARD Filter, DO NOT Change it, because this Filter is a very cheap replacement and may not last long. The OEM Honeycomb Filter is hard plastic and let's the air flow free much easier than this one, your main Filter is remaining two filters that goes under the Front hood, thus one is a third one and should let aur flow easily which the Honeycomb Filter does efficiently, just remove it air blow it and reinstall it. I installed this Filter and then ended up removing it to put my old Honeycomb Filter back after cleaning it (inside the vehicle, passenger side under the footwell) overall this particular product is cheap made, very cheap replacement. It is flimsy, soft, goes out of shape when inserting. I tried to return, but they said can't return it for some reason. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Reuse your Honeycomb hard filter, this replica paper filter is over priced, and very flimsy.
