Sweater and Fabric Comb

I had washed 2 of my blankets Just like the tags on them said and they turned into a huge lint ball and thought I was gonna have to throw them away! When I took them out of the washer and shook them out the Kitchen floor was covered with huge lint balls everywhere! The dryer didn't get the lint out neither! So We got on Amazon to see what they had! And choose the D-Fuzz-It! I wish it was the size of a comb! But let me tell you this is a fabulous product! It took a while because the blankets were so full of lint they looked like a giant fuzz ball! It took the lint off! I couldn't believe it! The blankets are king size! The D-Fuzz-It took it off like nothing just had to comb the material! Totally Amazing! If you have any problems with lint I would suggest the D-Fuzz-It! I Believe no lint problem is to big for the D-Fuzz-It! I love It!

This defuzzer is so easy to use and small enough to carry in my purse. I had one of these over a year ago and misplaced it. I've been searching for a replacement for the last several months. It works very well, giving new life to slacks, blouses, sweaters, and any item that has "pills" and bits of fuzz. Since this defuzzer doesn't rely on batteries or electricity to do the job, it goes with me everywhere. It's thin enough to fit in a pocket if necessary, yet strong enough to do the job. Highly recommend this defuzzer.

I don't have a good frame of reference for this product. I have never had good results with an electric sweater shaver and I have never used a sweater stone. I bought this specifically for a fleece pull over that was looking run down after just a couple of washes. It is pretty effective. It is a time consuming but the look and feel of the defuzzed vs fuzzed sides is significant. The build quality is what you would expect at this price. I had to snip some plastic away that looked like it would catch on the fabric. I will be interested to see how long this lasts. The "blade" appears to be coated with a rough material that looks like it could wear away over time. I am satisfied with this product.

Like many others, I am so confused about why this product got such high reviews. Maybe I (along with the others) got a dud, but this comb did absolutely nothing to remove the pilling from around the arms of my wool coat and generated even more "fluff" on a thin knit sweater that I was hopping to d-fuzz. I tried running it both gently and firmly over both very different fabrics in several different directions (I thought maybe up to down or left to right might be the key!) and it didn't help. I ran this comb over fabric and either this comb did not pick up any fuzz or this comb created fuzz on the sweater, but still didn't pick it up. This comb proved to be absolutely worthless to me so I threw it out within three days of receiving it. I was very disappointed. I could not recommend this product to others.

i bought this awesome track jacket that i was super pumped to wear. i wore it once, looked super awesome, but then got it really dirty. threw it into my dorm laundry machine, and i was so pissed to find little clumps of crap all over my new jacket, to the point where i could not bear to wear it. then after finding out the little clumps were called pillings(who the hell would know that), i found this sweater comb on amazon. ordered it, and put the little thing to use. after about 20 minutes, i was surprised to see how well it cleaned up most of the pillings. i give it four stars because it still left a number of pillings, but at least i can wear my jacket now. also, after using it once, i noticed that the stone(?) on the comb was wearing off.. probably want to buy two!

Be advised that you won't get the pictured defuzzer, rather you'll get a made in China Collins sweater defuzzer. I originally purchased it thinking I would get the made in the USA original dfuzzit, but that was not the case. The defuzzer works ok, but is not as high quality as what I thought I was buying and after a few swipes, this Colling shaver starts losing its pumice material and loses its "grab." If you can, my recommendation is to stick to the original dfuzz it, and Amazon should change the description to reflect a more accurate picture and description of what the buyer is purchasing.

This is one of those "gotta have" products! I had one of these given to me at a Department store (can't remember which one) a few years ago and loved it. It works very well. I used it for a few years but wore it out cleaning the "pills" from my recliner. I was unable to find another one in the department stores where I checked. I was so excited to find them on Amazon that I ordered a few for myself and some for gifts. They are easy, convenient, effective and inexpensive. I'd recommend a few for everyone!!

I have tried several products. Several mechanical which made small wholes in my sweaters sometimes, natural stone breaks and makes so much mess but then I gave a try to this. It is amazing. It is very gentle to the fabric and it does not make a whole. This product gently brushes off all the little fuzzy balls which accumulate under arms and around waste after some wear. I give it 10 stars out of 5. I went and bought several others as a small gifts for my friends and family because it is so worthy. I usually don't write reviews but I always read them very carefully. I was so amazed with this product I had to go back and share it with everyone.
