Herding play, seems durable
This ChuckIt 'herding' ball is really nicely made, with a durable woven thick material on the outside. It was easy to inflate (used a bike pump instead of the included one for faster inflation), but a bit hard to know when you're at the 3PSI unless you're actually measuring the diameter (and that's kind of tricky to get accurately anyways). I have a flooferdoodle and thought she might like this for her birthday, but as I should have predicted, she's not a herding dog. She liked when I bounced it and she kind of bounced up and down with it, but she was almost scared of it/didn't know what to do with it. This was just inside the house, so I'll try again at the park when it's less muddy, but my hopes aren't super high on her really playing with it. I imagine she will chase it if I throw it, and then not bring it back, but maybe I underestimate her. If she really doesn't seem to interact with it, I know plenty of herding dogs that I can pass it along to who may get more enjoyment out of it. My floof isn't really a chewer/destroyer of toys, she just gently nibbs them, so I can't judge how well it would stand up to sharp teefs.

Happy Terrier, for now...
This product keeps one of my most ball obsessed terriers busy, BUT he only likes these small orange ones. He plays and plays and plays and plays with them. The world ends for him if these orange balls disappear. Because of his love of the orange balls, he hides them from the other dogs in our house. Our other dogs prefer traditional tennis balls so that isn't an issue he really needs to fret over. The problem with hiding them is he forgets where he puts them. We can't find them either. There's no sign he eats them or chews them up. Perhaps he buries them, who knows? His orange ball searches can be loud and frantic. He only runs around with one at a time. We are down to one. The orange variety are getting hard to find. Disaster lies ahead for us if we don't resupply soon. Unhappy, bored terriers can be very destructive.

Ball for Smaller Dog
This ball is just a bit larger than a tennis ball but not by much. I would not have bought it if I knew it was smaller cuz my shepherds are 90 pounds…it’s really even too small for my lab but it’s a ball and they will run after it. It doesn’t squeak or crackle so really there is no noise. It would not be durable for a dog that is a chewer. It doesn’t bounce well cuz it’s a softer rubber and the color that I received (orange) was fine.

Perfect for Energetic Pups
I got this Chuckit! Big Air Fetch Ball for my puppy Barney, and he’s absolutely obsessed. He runs around the yard chasing it nonstop—great for burning off that puppy energy! The size is perfect, and the included pump is super handy. Highly recommend for any high-energy dog!

Not for my dog
Good size ball. My dog enjoyed it for about 2-3 hours… then he got his teeth in it and popped it. The ball was inflated perfectly, so it wasn’t user error… my dog has popped every herding ball I’ve bought him. This one, although better made, stood no chance. It will be great for a dog that doesn’t like to bite at every ball he plays with.
