For the price I thought I was getting a liter. I finished this off in a couple of weeks. We still have some that we bought previously for the laundry to use in the rinse. You can't get rid of mites until you get rid of the source of the infestation. For treating mites on my skin I'll use another product.

OK, I just got this and started using it. First impressions: "No added fragrance" does not mean it is fragrance free. It definitely has one -- and it's unpleasant. It seems to be a blend of a chemical solvent and wintergreen. After washing some bedding with it, it left an unpleasant and distracting odor. I don't think I'd enjoy sleeping with bedding that smells like this. I wouldn't be surprised if it gives me a headache. So, I washed it again with my usual detergent which has a pleasant fragrance. Welp, it still smelled icky and nothing at all like the pleasant-smelling detergent. it had just been washed with. Now, worried that I have ruined my bedding and I will have to fork out a chunk of cash to replace it, I decide to try throwing it in the drier, hoping maybe it would sort of burn away. Unfortunately, that didn't work. It's too early for me to say if this scent fades over time. Even if it did, that would be incompatible with how I would expect to continue using this product: wash stuff and then use it right afterward. Another concern is the ingredients. It only has 5, but they are mostly questionable: 1. Non-ionic surfactant, but no indication of which one 2. Solvent, with no indication of which one (some are toxic) 3. Benzyl Benzoate, a compound used as an insecticide but is also a known to cause allergies, contact dermatitis, has evidence it causes endocrine disruption, and has restrictions for use in cosmetics. It's also not recommended for use with children and is toxic to cats. 4. Tea Tree Oil, which can cause allergic reactions in some people, but I personally am comfortable with as I have no allergic reaction and have been using it topically in my skin care regimen for over 25 years. 5. Methyl Salicylate, also known as wintergreen, and is used in things like gum and candy, generally recognized as safe but there's a caution about bioaccumulation due to excessive exposure. So, the smell aside, I'm not feeling very comfortable with this product and why I gave it one star. You want me to trust your assertion that it is "completely safe" but you won't tell me exactly what ingredients and the concentrations you're using in your product? Some of which could create new allergic and toxic reactions in people who are using your product to avoid other allergic and toxic reactions? I think I'm going to send this back and trying making my own by just adding to my usual detergent what might be the only needed ingredient: tea tree oil. Tea tree oil can kill dust mites. It also cleans very well. This way I will know and can control the amount that I'm adding to things that will be right next to my skin, and keep it in a range that I feel comfortable with.

Works, but just beware it does leave your clothes with a very strong odor that I was sensitive to.

Ok, does this work? No clue. I bought to use for oak itch mites, not dust mites, and it seemed to work to a degree (perhaps as a repellant), but that’s not the intended purpose so not rating down for that. Took off two stars because: 1) It smells strongly and nauseatingly like Greyhound bus /airplane bathroom air freshener, and that smell sticks to fabrics through multiple hot water washes and rinses - maybe that’s the point, but I don’t want to walk around smelling like thst, and DEF wouldn’t want to have to smell it on my bedding all night. 2) Seems to have faded some of my black colored knitted items. I did leave them soaking in Demite for 30-45 minutes, which is longer than the directions indicate, so not sure if it would do that following directions, but I personally wouldn’t chance it on any dark knits I really cared about. Maybe do a test on an inner corner first.
