Best for beginner vloggers who don't want to mess in the post
Mic is light weighted, looks cool, voice is taken only from front, and sometimes from the back if you're too close to the mic (happens on every other mic), just plug n use, it's good to go, wires are of very good quality, get a dead cat for very windy area, for normal usage the foam one works fine. 2 years warranty extends only if you register on Rode website. Definitely download the Rode application to play with it.

Superb mic .
The microphone is very convenient does not need any batteries. I am using it for my YouTube videos and this sound quality is excellent. Must buy for anyone who wants to have a good audio in the camera and needs the convenience of no batteries and minimum sound distortion.

Multi purpose mic!
Sound quality is fantastic. I use it for both online meetings and recording videos. But it's a sensitive mic and picks up all the noise, as I live in a noisy city. Have to use AI noise removal in post. Other than that, it sounds natural, and I can boom it at a distance when in online meetings.

OMG his mic is amazing
This Mike is a game changer. I had to he video mic pro which was large and bulky and needed a battery and turning on. This thing has a superb pick up pattern and has a really good signal and frequency response. Sadly it is not in use at the moment as the expensive sc-15 lead I bought to use with it broke the first time I used it leaving half the plug in the phone. Shame they don’t make leads as well as they make mivs

A brilliant RØDE microphone
This is a brilliant microphone. I've been using it for my YouTube videos mounted out of frame and the quality is great. The software to control the mic is easy to use and really effective at enhancing the audio. I also use it out of the studio as a shotgun mic mounted on my camera. It also can be plugged in to a DJI Mic 2 for capturing field recordings at 32-bit float. Very portable and great quality. This mic has never let me down.
