Does this work with the tesla y 2023 performance? an earlier version i tried found that it was too tight at the top section of the console

Yes, the interior lighting kit can work with tesla model y performance 2023. No matter whether this tesla lighting kit was in the earlier version or the current one, the size of the light strip has not been changed. If it is too tight, it may be due to the difference in the assembly of the original console. Therefore, for the part installed on the top section of the console, we suggest cutting a V-shaped groove at the turning position of the light strip to release the tension. We have added this auxiliary step to the current product installation manual.
