Walthers Trainline HO Scale Model EMD GP15-1 - Standard DC - Union Pacific(R) (Yellow, Gray, Red)

La maquina en si se ve muy bonita, tristemente no se si obtuve una defectuosa pues ya he comprado walthers en otras ocasiones sin ninguna queja, pero en esta ocasion hay varios problemas: la velocidad no es la mejor y el mas grave es que hace un ruido muy feo el motor, ya la he verificado y desarmado para ver que es, y es algo que viene ya dentro del motor. Hasta el momento trabaja bien (poco uso) pero genera desconfianza que vaya a durar y definitivamente el ruido no es normal

If you google a GP 15-1, Northfolk Southern chances are you will find pictures of this exact model and number. It’s not often that it is this easy to model the exact prototype. It’s a modeler’s dream to add after market details and weathering. It’s black plastic and not painted with the only paint being the Northfolk Southern’s logo. The body casings are extremely crisp because of this. The body is easily removed from the chassis with instructions and the hand rails appear to be easily removed with extreme care for weathering the body. The side trucks come off easily with care to weather and add detail. It includes K-D style couplers with the front and rear ends needing to be applied. The front is a snow plow. It ran smooth, strong and quiet on my test track. I’m old school modeler and don’t do DCC and this is just DC. I’ve never had a Walters Trainline engine and for the sale offered I thought I would give it a try. I couldn’t be happier with its quality and potential it presents. I’m looking forward to working on it making a good model great.
