Great album. Since I loved Flume's early work, I was very excited to hear his next effort, even more so after he released 'Never Be Like You'. I just can't get over how all the songs are so different but follow the same theme of 'skin', of being who you are, of maybe being uncomfortable with it. Even the somewhat syncopated beats he lays under beautiful vocals echoes this. My only gripe is that Amazon sold me a beautiful album (and the artwork involved in the Limited Edition Vinyl is truly beautiful) with an imperfection in the cover (see the photo). And since Amazon is the vendor, it's hard to "contact the seller" to complain. If you display vinyl covers (and this one deserves to be displayed) as artwork, buy this from a record store where you can inspect the cover before receiving it. I've had issues with Amazon selling me new records with ripped inner sleeves, but never damaged outer sleeves. I'm annoyed. But I love the record enough to not want to give it up... Update: I got in touch with amazon through their regular customer service. They were very responsive and very helpful. I could have gotten a replacement album, but chose a discount instead.

Great album love it

I had to come back to write a review because this pressing is absolutely stunning. It is definitely 180g, and there are no defects. The art direction on the cover and sleeves is very pleasant.

Definetely All of Flume's albums are wonderful pieces of work, and skin doesn't fall behind his benchmark, from his radio hits (which are included) to more deep songs that play with his slow tempo signature, skin will blow your mind, and if you listen it with a very good cup of wine you'll get what I mean...of if you want to get romantic even...electro romantic extravaganza!

Just perfect. I love at least 90% of this album which is more than I can say for any artist out there at the moment. Flume's consistency in delivering fresh, exciting content is unparalleled at the moment. Is it better than his previous album and singles? Probably not. Does it have to be better? Absolutely not. It's amazing that he can create so much more music that is up to par with his previous work. Exceeded my expectations once again.

The album itself is great. However, it arrived in an envelope so the corners of the sleeve were all crushed in. Luckily this didn't warp the actual record. Still a bit disappointing though

This is an undisputed classic from the hits to the lesser known bangers. Greatest future bass album of all time. Right next to baauers Aa album Edit lol when I wrote this I forgot peace is the mission exists but I'd still take skin

Deuxième opus de l'australien magnifique, un temps d'avance dans le game, pour moi ce mec est le roi et le fer de lance de la future bass du trap et de tout ces nouveaux genres dérivés de sonorités electro et de breakbeat. A écouter absolument !

Excelente disco y buen empaque tiene muchos extras: 2 inserts de las portadas de los sencillos, los dos discos son de 180gr y son color lavanda marmoleado, el gatefold tiene impresos lo de adentro, o sea tiene muchos detalles. Gran compra!

Fuera coñas, este album es lo más bestia, limpio, nítido y súper fresco que ha podido sacar Flume. Ya fui fanático fan hace un par de años cuando me escuché el album y ahora que tengo el vinilo y el oído ha madurado aún más escucharlo es una gozada. No hace falta decir mucho sobre sus tracks ni hacer un análisis de ellos más allá de los que hay en internet, solo te digo que te lo escuches en YT, Spoti o la que quieras, que te enamores y te pilles el vinilo, es una gozada escucharlo en este formato, y además te viene un código para canjearlo en Bandcamp y así poder escucharlo con Streaming ilimitado además de descargar las canciones en formato MP3, WAV, FLAC, AIFF... 11/10

Ich bin schon sehr lange ein großer Fan von Flume. Habe ihn bereits live gesehen und wurde völlig überzeugt. Die Visuals für dieses Albums sind alleine schon fantastisch. Flume schafft es, und damit ist er einer der wenigen Künstler auf dem Markt, jedes einzelne Lied einmalig zu machen. Kein Lied in diesem Album hört sich gleich an. Trotzdem erkennt man in jedem Lied jedoch, dass es sich um Flume handeln muss. Auch wenn die, oftmals komischen, gar kosmischen Klänge sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig erscheinen - oder für manch einen auch einfach nur schrecklich, habe ich mich in diese Art der Musik verliebt. Eine Definitive Kaufempfehlung. Die Platte an sich ist der schön gemacht und kam bei mir - zwar verspätet - aber ca eine Woche nach dem Release bei mir an. Hatte sie ein paar Wochen vorher Vorbestellt.

Versão exclusiva "Peppermint Green Vinyl", muito bonita com um verde "marmorizado". Som impecável em 33RPM, bem embalado, valeu a pena a espera. O único detalhe é que tem um "empenadinho" em um dos ângulos, mas a agulha passa tranquilamente sem pular. Há anos que queria este disco do Flume e agora está na coleção.
