LET THERE BE LIGHT!
They came fully charged, I think. Out of the box I let them run on high to drain the battery. They lasted 2.5 hours. Recharged in about 3 hours. Unlike most rechargeables, this one has a replaceable battery. Neat! Took it out back where I have a treeline about 350 yards away. The zoom reached the treeline! Impressive. Most impressive at about 100 yards. They do get a little warm but nothing to be concerned about. Alot of light in a tiny lightweight package. Solid body and Beltclip is well made. Does great on USB C fast charge. Well worth the money. You will not regret the purchase.

Well made flashlights
Great pair of flashlights, solid built, easy to open, easy to charge, bright on high, decent on medium.Comes with 2 amp batteries, I ran it for an hour on high and it got warm but was still going. It took about 2 hours to recharge them. Not too heavy, about a pound. The Zoom works well, good for about 100 feet on high, its much better with out the zoom and used in the 25 foot range.Overall a very good light at a great price.

Bright 3 mode rechargeable charging port cover inadequate
Price point goodBrightness and adjustment goodGets very warmThe plastic or rubber cover that protects tje charge port from water or debris does not fit well and does not stay put,I keep it charged up. Household normal use great. But it isn’t something I would take as a single light source for a overnight camp or ruck. Great as a secondary light in those situations. The charging port cover problem is my chief complaint but it is possible the 2 pack I boughtAre unique in this matter. If it were not for that I would give it a 5 star.

Darn good light for not a lot of money.
This is only slightly too big for your pocket unlee you have a good sized pocket but it will clip ino a shirt pocket. -- it comes with an 18650 cell, marked as 2000 MAH, branded Darkbeam, so not real small as with an AA sized cell. Not sure if it's 2000 lumens, maybe 1000 or 1500 going just by eye, but it is pretty bright, and focuses for a bright hot spot (with a square imahe of LED at sharpest focus), so it does have a rather good throw. I have one, and just ordered another pair, because it really is a nice, useful, light. The switch works well -- high. medium, and strobe. Can be charged with USB cable connected to the light. Not at all expensive for what it does. Yeah, I want to have a few of these around. I was surprised it works so well.Update: I got the pair I ordered and now have three of the, and all work well. Yes, they are bright and easy to use, and light up an area 50 or 100 yards away so I can easily see animals there. I am keeping one in my pocket, for EDC. Excellent buy -- this one is a winner!

Bang for buck
The DARKBEAM LED Flashlight is a compact powerhouse that punches well above its weight. With 2000 lumens of brightness, it’s incredibly bright for its size, making it perfect for both everyday use and emergency situations. Whether you're camping, hiking, or in need of a reliable light source during power outages, this flashlight won't disappoint. The adjustable focus feature is a standout, allowing you to switch from a wide floodlight to a more concentrated beam, depending on your needs. The flashlight's beam is crisp, clear, and can light up distances up to 200 meters, making it versatile for a variety of outdoor activities. In terms of durability, the DARKBEAM flashlight is water-resistant, which means it can handle wet conditions without issue. It’s built to withstand drops and rough handling, making it suitable for both rugged outdoor adventures and the occasional clumsy moment. The USB-rechargeable battery is another major plus, offering convenience and eliminating the need for disposable batteries.Despite its powerful output, it’s surprisingly small and fits comfortably in your pocket, making it easy to carry around without adding bulk. The ergonomics are solid, and the design feels sturdy yet lightweight in your hand.Overall, the DARKBEAM LED Flashlight is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable, high-performance light source in a small, portable package. It offers great value for its price and should serve well in any emergency or outdoor scenario.

This light went bad within 2 months
This item lasted until one day prior to the last day I can get a refund. I can get a refund if I send it back. (Please package and label your return and bring it to any UPS drop off location of your choice. UPS offers a variety of drop off locations. )Instead of that, I have the option to have it picked up for shipping. Which means I have to box it, label it, take it to the front desk of my assisted living facility and hope that UPS picks it up, this time. (Sometimes, they just come so late, they get here too late, and no one is at the front desk at 8 P.M. to hand it to UPS. This also costs $7.99 for the service. - The light costs $8.99. -Do you see the value in that? I guess I get a dollar back. Yay!? Or, I could take it to the UPS store, which is free, unlike my time, vehicular wear and tear, and gas...... I dunno, is your time and gas and vehicle wear and tear worth $7.99? Maybe. Maybe it is. And you can get another crappy light that doesn't' last 2 months before it's completely dead and won't take a charge at all.I tell you what I learned. I will never buy a cheap Chinese light again, ever. At least, not from Amazon. This was not a good deal. It LOOKED like a good deal and it was an Amazon's Choice deal, so I bought it and boy, do I regret it. I mean, it's only 9 bucks.... but I wasted 9 bucks, ya know?Caveat emptor, man. Let the buyer beware.

Great in the beginning and then the rechargeable batteries fail
when I first got these things I love them I actually bought two of them. they were bright and compact, they charged up nice and quick. Now I’m six or seven months with them and they don’t hold a charge anymore I’ve tried a different charger I’ve tried everything and I just don’t hold the battery won’t charge. Very disappointing because it was an excellent flashlight
