My hair was previously colored a shade very close to the one I chose in this product, but I had some regrowth I needed to dye. This hair dye worked well at covering the regrowth and refreshing my hair color but I don’t think it is ideal for switching up your color. For me, the color looks natural and doesn’t have that harsh “just dyed” look that other brand tend to have which I appreciate. Overall, it just depends on what you’re wanting but I really liked it. The smell wasn’t too strong (but there is a notable “hair dye” smell) and it didn’t seem to dry out my hair too much. I would order again if I decide to stay the same shade.

This is a great price , beautiful color but it does fade a bit after each shampoo washing . In all fairness I have a pool though I don’t wet my hair in the pool . I have & will purchase more , I’m very happy with the gray coverage & color .

I am complaining this to the brand I used for close to 20 years—Féria (In the natural black shade). The last time I ordered Féria and used it I was heartbroken. Not only did the color not deposit correctly, but it destroyed my hair. It took massive damage control. I don’t know if they changed the formula or what but I had to hunt for another black and I’m super picky. This one came highly rated.The main concern is color, if you boil it all down. And it not only covers my greys but it is a beautiful black. It also didn’t damage my hair AT ALL. I’m not joking when I say my hair was actually in better shape after I dyed it. Score! So for that, I will be sticking with this from here on out.The cons…So first of all, I would need nearly three boxes of this stuff to do my hair where as I only needed one Féria. So that was a bit of a bummer. One box is just enough to do root touch ups but when I need to touch up everything, I will need two boxes.The smell is very fishy. Very very fishy 😂.The gloves suck. I’m going to stock my own from here on out.The conditioner isn’t nearly as good as Féria. In fact, I just use my own.But all in all the color is solid and the best black I’ve come across.

Love that to didn't make my scalp itch

I like to use this product in between salon visits. The color is easy to mix and easy to put on and usually gives me about three weeks of color before my regrowth comes back. It has a light, pleasant smell and I feel it is a good price.

This is not chemically smelly at all very gentle on my hair I'm very happy with it.

I developed a severe allergy to most hair colors (tried several brands), so I tried this one with fingers crossed.Coloring #1 - I did a true patch test because of my allergies. That went fine, so I tried coloring my hair 24 hours later. The color didn't work, as I guess it was too late. Coloring #2 - I applied the dye to my hair immediately after mixing. My head started to itch after about 15 minutes, so I got nervous and rinsed the dye out. No problems, but of course it didn't work great either as it wasn't on my head long enough.Colorings #3-7 - I followed the instructions, and am happy to say it worked great! While I only use this to cover up grays at my hairline and mid-scalp, have never completely saturated my head, so far I have had no allergy problems whatsoever. My scalp does itch slightly while the dye is on, but the itching stops as soon as I rinse it out, and I've never have any residual effects. (Compared to, the last time I used a different brand with the least amount of dye on my head possible for as short as possible, I still ended up with swelling and rash for days.)My only minor quibble is that this product is a little more work to apply, and has to stay on the hair a little longer, than other root touch-ups I used before the allergies took over. However, it's an allergy-saving miracle, and is the only hair color I trust now.

I’ve always gotten an allergic reaction to every single hair dye out there. But this one is one of a kind. It didn’t burn, it didn’t make my scalp itchy and didn’t give me a rash. The color is also amazing! I do have some grays and it covered very well! I definitely recommend it!

I liked that the product did not have any strong odours, and did not dry out my hair. It hides the grey hair, and provided a nice shine, but it did not lighten my hair. I have dark blonde hair, and this light blonde hair colour didn't change the colour of my hair. I left the product on for 35 minutes after applying. I wouldn't recommend it if you are expecting a colour change.

Unfortunately this product did not meet my expectations. It says it is permanent colour and will not wash out easily but it washes out pretty quickly compared to other dyes out there. The colour as well was not what I was hoping for. It turned out more brassy, even though I used a anti brass shampoo after.Will not be buying this product again.
