Great AC unit for the price
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been umming & erring on getting an AC unit for a couple of years. The recent hot spell clinched it for me to buy one.Ordered this based on reviews and reasonable cost. The S95 unit is pretty tidy and compact. It comes with 150mm exhaust hose to vent hot air out the window and comes with the fixing kit to vent out of a sash window. I modified the supplied fitting to fit a ply board that fits my windows but fabric kits are widely available. The hose is a decent length and flexible enough. Fitting to unit and vent is simple and robust.Noise wise it’s not quiet (see video) but expectations need to be realistic for a unit of this type. It’s white noise so not hard to tune it out and I can sleep through it. I measured at 55db on my Apple watch from a few feet away.Paired with a smart plug this machine holds its previous setting so it’s a doddle to turn it on or off with Alexa and instruct Alexa to run the AC for a period of time. Handy in the night to whisper to Alexa to turn it on if you wake up hot or want to set it to run for an hour or so whilst dropping off or cool the bedroom before coming upstairs. The unit isn’t too heavy and has castors so it’s easy to move from room to room.It works well and cools our rooms down quickly to a comfortable temperature (circa 35sqm rooms). The unit has an onboard tank for the condensated water - this evaporates in use and so shouldn’t need draining unless really humid. The unit switches off if the tank gets too full, then needs draining. If being operated for a period un monitored there is a drain pipe option.Obstructions provided are clear and straightforward.Delivery was amazingly quick - next day in my case. All in all very happy with my purchase.

Excellent unit
The media could not be loaded. Purchased because of the reviews of other owners and not disappointed.Purchased for our static caravan , the unit is reasonably small compared to other units we have owned. The unit is also not too heavy and can be lifted by a person to carry upstairs etc.Use:The unit performs adequately , with only a medium amount of noise, certainly the quietest unit we have owned.Refreshing to use in the recent very hot weather and makes the room comfortable. The exhaust ducting is 1.5 metres and is slightly too short for our window , so purchased a 3 meter length which is far easier to manoeuvre and fit to the window. All supplied units seem to come with 1.5m , 2 metered would have been perfect .Highly recommended unit and well worth the money

Impressive portable cooler that actually reaches the low temperatures
I've been using this for a couple of months now for a variety of purposes.First of all, the all important cooling feature is very good. It actually gets to the very low temperatures which, I know they should, but I have portable units in the past and some don’t affect the room enough. This one seems pretty good at the exhaust side of things and pushes out its own heat, and the heat of the room, really well. I’ve used much bigger and heavier units than this in past and they have not been as efficient at dealing with the heat. This is pretty terrific. Literally a few minutes to cool down my 5m x 8m room (low ceiling 2m). Only downside is the noise and exhaust pipe, but this is pretty much what you get with all these kind of units. This also affects portability but, again, others are much more cumbersome and this is a nice slim unit that you can get in some little places, even under kitchen counter (remote needed as buttons on top).Dehumidifying feature is really, really good. This is much cheaper than tumble drying and very effective. This use gets 5 stars and is also good for your home, especially in winter months when you run the risk of damp/mould with laundry hanging around. Use this, with good ventilation the air quality improves (check this with a CO2 meter and you’ll be surprised) and your laundry is dry. An AC unit for more than just summer.Current use is three months without any problems. Definitely recommend.

Impressive Air Conditioner
I bought this Avalla S-95 air conditioner to replace an older air conditioner that I used for a number of years. in our garage conversion. The Avalla is so much better than the old unit. At times the old one was really struggling to cool the room down and was very noisy. The Avalla gets the temperature down really quickly and it is a lot quieter than the old one. The Avalla hose is connected to a fixed wall outlet and this works great. I haven't used the window kit so I can't really comment on this. The controls and remote are very straight forward and are really easy to use and the unit looks quite stylish as well! All in all very pleased with the Avalla and definitely recommend it!

It really works
For the UK purchasing air conditioning may seem an extreme measure given the generally unimpressive weather that we tend to experience. Indeed, buying aircon might seem over-indulgent and extravogant, BUT given the affordability of the Avalla units we are no longer required to suffer weeks of pain when summer briefly kicks in. The a/c unit is extremely effective at providing genuine temperature change in your hot and stuffy summer rooms. Unlike a rotary fan this unit does not push the same hot air around the room, it sucks in the hot air and pushes it out of it's (considerable) exhaust, replacing it with genuinely cold air. When you consider that a Dyson fan costs more than one of these it's quite amazing really. I am delighted with my purchase and look forward to more comfortable summers from here on in thanks to the Avalla. As a side note, it's quite unbelieveable the amount of water taht exists in the air at times. We have our hose in a large bucket, which depending on the atmospheric humididty (I guess) can get surprisingly full! In order to be most energy efficient you might want to get one of the window sealing attachments.
