I was pleased with the engineering and thought that must have gone into the development of this product. I am a novice at cleaning the vent ducting for my dryer. I like to try to do some of the maintenance upkeep around the house so that it doesn't all fall on my husband. On my first attempt to clean out the dryer vent duct I cut myself on the metal edges of the duct and could not get a good fit to attach the dryer hose to the outside vent pipe. I was not going to give up and went looking at Amazon to see what was available that might save me some grief. I saw this product and watched the installation video. I am impressed at the ease of which I was able to attach this product to the duct hose and then to my dryer and then to the duct that goes outside for venting. This is a GREAT product and I am so happy that I discovered it. The video explained everything very clearly.

I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews about the installation being complex and the rings not fitting correctly.After receiving and installing this item in under 10 minutes (most of which was maneuvering through hoses and inching the washer and dryer around ), I can confidently say this product is exactly as advertised; easy to install and idiot proof from a hose crushing perspective.I would give this higher than 5 stars if I could.If you had trouble installing, one of a few things is true; you lack even the most basic sense of handiness, you didn’t measure or you’re incompetent.

I'll give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of cost. I honestly do not see the product value in what they are charging for this, my guess would be new company and production costs. But I will give it 5 stars in how much time this product saved me and simplicity of getting it installed. The time I saved would be close to the $40 they are charging for this. I spent an hour and a half the day before trying to get the hose we had connected but it was a no go. I think that the exhaust pipe in our laundry room is too big, I could not get the hose to stay on there to save my life. So I saw this and made a purchase. I followed the instructions and was done in 5 minutes, no more cuts on my hands and 5 tools trying to get it there. I will say that the part connecting to the exhaust pip still did not fit properly BUT THIS IS ON MY BUILDER, NOT THEM. I had to wrap it in duct tape to make it stay. Again, my problem, not theirs. I am sure everyone else has an exhaust pipe that is the size it should be. Overall I would buy this again.

This is barely a 2-star product. Here’s why. Note: There are reviews for more than one product in here and it’s deceiving. I’m reviewing the pack of two 90 degree elbows. Other reviews here are for a different product of theirs. Don’t look at only the stars. Read. I didn’t.First off, the post says they are soft and flexible. No they aren’t.They are for 4” dryer connections. Doesn’t fit them.The Velcro strap thing, lol… there’s not a chance in hell that thing holds anything.The idea here is good. Nice 90 to connect your dryer hose. We all hate dryer hoses. Anything to make that better. Right?This fails in execution. It doesn’t just “slip on” your vent pipe. It barely goes on, and then it’ll falls right back off. Even in their instructional video of the product, if you watch close, you can see theirs slipping off the pipe too before they pan away.There’s only one way I’ve found to make this crappy thing work. You need 3 pipe clamps, a bowl of steamy hot water, and a shot of whiskey. Yep, you need accessories.Get a bowl of piping hot water and put the elbow in. Give it five minutes or so and it’ll be nice and playable. Now, take a shot, then put a pipe clamp on your vent (loose of course) and then do your best to bend and squeeze the now cooling rather quickly piece onto your vent. Got it on there? No you don’t. It won’t stay. Take another shot. Pull that clamp over it and wrench it down. Once it cools and has a clamp it’ll stay put.At this point you won’t even consider putting the other one on your dryer. Back to the old devils clamps and hose.Roll your dice, maybe you have better luck, but I highly doubt it. If they made this with softer plastic, and a few sixteenths to an eighth bigger in diameter it might work. Maybe. My advice, go back to your search and try another one.

Works great easy to install, did use one wrap of Duct tape after install to make sure it did not come off…
