ACDelco GM Genuine Parts 13595628 Alternator

Part came in fairly quickly. Was able to watch a few youtube videos to get the old alternator removed and install the new one. Fairly simple process but time consuming if you do not have all of the hardware. Nothing special, but my hydraulic jack was not working so I had to get a replacement. Be sure to use your jack stands as well to hold up your car. Safety first!

after comparing the old with the new I realized that it’s oem. It looked identical to the old one from s. Korea. I still wish the Sonics design was like a Buick lesabre. It takes me 5 min to change the alternator on one of those. It took me 45min on the sonic cause I had to remove the plastic cover and take the tire off. Not to mention how scary it is when you got a small car like that jacked up and your nose is hitting the frame. Very tight.

This (part number 13595628) is a new original equipment alternator. It is an exact fit for my 2013 Chevy Sonic with the 1.8 liter engine and 6T30 automatic transmission. It was shipped to me directly from GM aftersales.

Part came in on time, packaging could have been better being that it’s an alternator and could be damaged if dropped without care. It fit my 2014 Chevy Sonic 1.8L without any complications, I’ve had it on my car for almost a week & runs fine. Would have gave this 5 stars if they would have put bubble wrap or foam in box instead of wrapping it once with brown paper.

Fits perfectly on a 2012 Chevy sonic 1.8l automatic.
