I’ve been using this product for about six years and it is still my favorite lip balm. It really doesn’t plump but it moisturizes and stays on like a dream. The rose flavor was the best and it doesn’t seem to be available anymore which is a shame. I have one in my purse, one in my car, one in the nightstand, one at my vanity and so on, you get the point.

I've been picking my lips since I was a kid. Nasty habit. I've tried nearly every type of lip moisturizer out there, even lotion! . (Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, kiehls hydrating cream, neutrogena, Burt's Bee's, even a manuka honey lip stuff, etc) This stuff, moisturizes my lips and makes them soft and plump. It stays on for an extended period of time because I don't have the urge to lick my lips since they are already moist. It also heals them... well maybe it doesn't but they don't flake anymore which is what I liked to pick, then I'd get going til they bleed. They'd scab over night and I'd do it all over again. This literally stopped my lips from hardening to a scab therefore I had no urge to pick the next day. I put it on before bed and my lips feel great in the morning. No thought to pick. I'm still working on my habit. I touch my lips multiple times when dry and there's nothing to pick. As soon as I catch myself touching I put it on and done. Love love love this stuff! I bought it in one of the colors too. Nice subtle color.

Ok, I'm about to really nerd out on lip balms, but I have to give you the download on this one. I can't help buying a new chapstick (not the Chapstick brand). I'm constantly on the hunt for a hydrating one... rather one that actually moisturizes without having to reapply every 30 minutes. Who knew it would be so difficult to find a lip conditioner that actually works. I can say with confidence that I've found it!! I had ordered this Jouer lip balm on DermStore just to try it and I loved it! I put it on every night before I go to sleep and I wake up with conditioned lips. I've noticed less lines and an overall smoothness/plumpiness. Anyway, then I went to order more and they were sold out. I checked Sephora - sold out! I happened to check ole reliable Amazon thinking there's no way they would carry Jouer products, but I was so happy to be wrong! I immediately ordered 2 (one Vanilla and one Rose) and I LOVE them both! I'm ordering 2 more so I'll keep one in my purse, one by my nightstand, one in my car and one extra. :) I've noticed when I apply this lip balm, I don't have to reapply for a long time! It's not sticky like lip gloss and it's not solid like chapstick. It's as if you applied the most luscious conditioner on your lips. The scent is VERY SUBTLE and there's no weird taste like some other lip balms/treatments. I love that it's a squeeze tube and you don't have to apply with your finger because... germs. What more can I say... it's my new FAVORITE and I'm thrilled Amazon carries it!

This is my favorite lip product. I've used it for two years now and thought it was finally time to give it the review it deserves. I think it's pricey, but I only use it once or twice a day. It makes my lips ultra soft, and, as a result, there is a plumping effect. A lot of reviewers of this product say it is not a plumper, but that's only because it doesn't have cinnamon or other "tingly" ingredients to make it feel like your lips are plumping. After a couple weeks of daily use (once or twice a day), I noticed a difference in the fullness of my lips. No product will make you go from Tilda Swinton to Jessica Alba-- some advertise this but it's not true (not in my experience)-- but as far as helping my lips be their best, Jouer does the job. It works better for me than Chapstick and Carmex at moisturizing and the effects last longer. My lips look like they did when I was 18 and this makes me feel happy.

I've had this for about a year now and I have to be honest, I rarely use it. It's thick and sticky and although it's moisturizing to a certain degree, I don't feel it lives up to its promises and I don't feel it enhances anything. It has a weird floral scent which is not at all a scent I want on my lips by any means. Some may like it and that's totally fine, it's just too much of a perfumey floral for my taste. My biggest gripe with this product though is that it produces a white milky cast which worn by itself washes out my natural lip color and when worn over any other lip color it affects the overall shade of whatever it is I'm wearing and makes it look lighter. So, if I use it at all it's before bed and honestly that is pretty rare since I'll reach for just about anything else over this. I feel like you're paying for the Jouer brand with this product and not much else. I think there's a lot of better options out there, especially at this price point and this isn't something that I'd think of first to recommend to anyone.

Ok, there are pros and cons here. I mostly like it because it really does make my lips softer and fuller. However, it is sticky (probably has to be) and a bit more shimmery than I would like, although the result is a fairly natural look. I am not a fan of the scent- it's sort of floral--yet not. It's not a super strong scent, so it's tolerable, but it does have sort of a Grandma/dusty makeup drawer scent to it. Honestly, my biggest problem with this product is the packaging. The print is SO tiny, and very similar to the color of the tube, plus it's sort of pearly- VERY hard to read. Also, there are conflicting instructions- the description says two times a day, the tube says 3 times a day. The tube is SMALL. However, it only takes a teensy amount to apply, so that is not that big of an issue for me.

One of the best lip balms ever. Glossy and not sticky.
