Wilton B.A.S.H 30" Dead Blow Hammer, 8 Lb Head (55830)

A very good hammer to do projects with! Especially like for pavers. I would highly recommend this dead blow hammer.

Works great for knocking wheels loose when needed. Should last a long time if used appropriately.

Awesome hammer for beating on cement tankers

Purchased this in March of 2019, keeping in mind that this is a dead blow hammer it doesn't get much use and also that it's only 1.5 pounds, I bought it for smaller use. This being said the head of this has already split. Working on a farm there are several items that I use a dead low or rubber mallet for. The last use this had I was driving a u-joint on to a shaft and could not use a steel hammer or chance causing damage to the housing, pretty much what I bought this for. I really thought that Wilton hammers were supposed to be the best, but as can be seen in the picture, to me at least, this isn't the case. Definitely disappointed in this. I guess I'll go back my old cheap rubber mallet that I still use after several years.

Well made dead blow hammer. I’ve been through dozens and it’s stood up to repeated abuse. The item is advertised as 1.5 lbs. but sadly I was sent a 1lb one. That being said it’s so well made I can’t part with it so it wasn’t exchanged .
