It works good, but next time I would prefer 4ply
It freezes fine, keeps things cool all day, in hot heat, in some cases it works more than 1 day. I do prefer 4 ply though

I really need the 4-ply
I bought these previously at a Fair (got 4-ply) and failed to notice these are 2-ply instead of 4-ply which is what I really need for my purposes! Hope you have 4-ply?

to ensure they last as long as possible it is a good idea to at least put them in plastic bags
We purchased these at the fair years ago when there was only one type of Tech ice. They did not have disposable then and let me tell you these are disposable. We had to seal them with our Vacu/Sealer. If you want them to last and you don't have a vacu/sealer you need to get the 4ply. Also, to ensure they last as long as possible it is a good idea to at least put them in plastic bags. This way when they get dirty or food on them you can just replace the plastic bag. If we had the 4 ply these would get a 5 star. The fact that they are really disposable is why they only get a three star from me, but they work great, especially since we made them 4ply.

Excellent!
We used these to keep a 5-Tier wedding cake in our cake porter chilled during a 5h delivery. The cake was as cold as when we took it out of the fridge. They are lightweight, thin and slide perfectly between the layers of our insulated carrier. Love them.

Slimy when used
These get very slimy when used. When I purchased them in the past this wasn't an issue. Cannot locate the ones that do not have the fabric on one side that didn't have this issue.

Not 4 ply. Gets things wet
I have used Techni Ice for years. Truthfully I didnt know they made a 2 ply. I have always used 4 ply where there is a protective plastic coating on both the front and the back preventing seepage. These Techni Ice are 2 ply with plastic only on the front and the liquid in them seeps out as they thaw leaving moisture behind. They also have to be rehydrated often. No where near the quality of the 4 ply. Not worth the money due to limited usability, lifespan and messy.
